Been wanting to try this place since moving to DeLand and I finally made it happen.
The visit did not disappoint!!
The flavors of the Empanadas and the Enchiladas were incredible.
I especially loved the Mole Sauce on the Enchilada.
Very friendly service and prompt service too. Sitting outside on a beautiful day with the Sangria, Food and people watching…it was hard to beat.
I will definitely be back to enjoy more of the menu.

The three of us enjoyed our food, one of us being a local. I had the Chipotle Glazed Salmon. Enjoyed every bit of it. The slight kick (Chipotle) is nice. The salmon plopped on it had to be two inches thick at the large end. ( I asked for it to be lightly cooked.) I’ve never had salmon cooked throughout but still lightly done the way the chef did it. To me, this dish was a culinary masterpiece.

Weekend brunch unlimited for 23.95 is where it’s at! The food is amazing. The restaurant was hot today, the AC was on but unless you were under a vent you were cooking. The server was friendly and prompt. Perfect place to grab a bite!

Found this place while looking for a NYE dinner, and I’m so happy I stumbled upon it. It felt like fine dining in a casual setting. I ordered the churrasco—absolutely divine, especially with the chimichurri sauce. Even the salad surprised me; it was light, fresh, and delicious. The yuca was cooked to the perfect crisp, and to top it all off, the chorizo came with an unexpected twist of melted cheese that tied everything together beautifully. Every bite was unique and truly a culinary experience. Compliments to the chef—I couldn’t stop talking about how good my meal was the entire time. One very happy customer! ❤️

My 18 year-old daughter brought me to the downtown land area and we happen to stumble upon De La Bega Restaurant and it was pretty busy and I looked up some of the reviews and decided that we would have lunch here. I must say I will definitely be coming back. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is amazing. I love when I stumble upon a great restaurant. I live about 30 minutes away but it will definitely be worth the drive on our next visit. My daughter had the Rico burrito which she said was amazing and I had the south of the border salad and I don’t want stop eating it. On my next visit, I’m definitely getting the Churrasco. Trust me, you will not be disappointed if you try this restaurant.

I went with a friend on a Sunday. Arrived 11:30 and was seated promptly. Service was EXCELLENT and the Sunday brunch tapas were out of this world! I can’t wait to go back!
