I would like to know how could they unable to cook any asia dish that is tasty? teriyaki, sesame or similar things are all worse than panda(which was bad enough). When you try to take everthing you can get you would found that you pay 14 dollars to get bunch of carbohydrate and little bit vege& meat to fill you up. Also, this location is tooooooo far away from campus

The food is always great but one worker ruined the experience today. I didn’t know this but there’s actually a limit to the amount of entrées you can get at this place. I tried getting another pork rib and the server said I couldn’t have anymore that I “had too many already”. I’ve never had this at any other diner and it’s really unfortunate to have to be denied food at a supposedly “all you can eat” dining facility.

I was a Gaucho for a couple of years and the UCSB dining commons are nothing but special to me. Pizza, burgers, pasta, sandwich bar, salad bar, waffle machine, unlimited soda, all-you-can-eat everything all with a simple card swipe! (or <$20 for non-students) Seriously, some of you guys' complaints make no sense. You really expect French Laundry quality here? Yeah right! This place's job is to provide us with glucose for our brains to complete our studies, and for that I'd say it's beyond satisfactory. Ranking of the DCs: 1. Ortega (sushi baby!) 2. DLG (late night cravings) 3. Carrillo (best breakfast) 4. Portola (too far, had it once)

Consistently okay. Very rarely is there an amazing meal and there are some days where nothing on the menu is above a 6/10, but there has never been a day where everything was bad. Every item is consistently between a 4/10 and a 7/10. There’s pizza every day and that’s reliably good as well as a salad bar. So don’t expect to be blown away, but it’s never been too bad.

Food is okay. Nothing special. Today I got chased down and harassed by a worker because he was convinced I was waking out “stealing” 4 bananas. I showed him I only had a single banana (which is allowed) in my bag. Clearly he felt the need to harass me even though I did nothing wrong.

UC Santa Barbara on campus cafeteria. They served good food. They don’t allow using trays, thus we had to carry bowls, plates, and silverware. This was inconvenient. However, a variety of food to choose was great for visitors.

The De La Guerra Dining commons are pretty okay, in regards to the food. It’s certainly one of the dining commons I like more, but the main selling point is the late night dining option that’s available. Even if you aren’t really hungry, going to late night is worth it because at that hour food just hits your soul instead of your stomach. Their desserts can be such bliss too

Largest dining common in UCSB; huge variety of foods including, but not limited to, pizzas, resturant-style heavy dish, taco/burrito stands and more. You can eat outside if you want to; would definitely go for dinner everyday.
