This was second time having dinner here in ten years! I can’t remember what I had in 2015, but on Friday I had the Bronzino and my husband had the Filet Mignon. We also shared the gnocchi as an appetizer. The food was made to perfection. I don’t know how the chef does it. My Bronzino was very buttery peeling away from the skin and the peppers that accompanied were seasoned so well. I wish we could have date night here every month but the gnocchi appetizer portion was too small for the price and we were charged $8 for one bottle of sparkling water. Also would be nice if there were more entrees to choose from. This particular evening had only 1-2 non seafood options. We had a reservation and still had to wait 20-30 minutes for our table as well.

I had read the reviews of D’Floret on line, and was expecting to be impressed. As it stands, it was the best meal I’ve enjoyed all year, and this view was unanimous among my 3 dining companions. What a hidden gem this restaurant is, and it was well worth the 45 minute drive to Lambertville from our house. I’m looking forward to future visits!

April 2024 Update – Have been here several times since last review two years ago but just had to update to say it remains one of the best restaurants in the area. Gnocchi and Tortellini appetizers were to perfection and the Halibut and Perch fish entrees were beyond delicious. It’s nice to eat somewhere repeatedly and know ahead of time the meal will be stellar.
June 2022 update – Second time here and once again, everything was excellent! Four of us enjoyed five appetizers, four entrees, and three desserts …all of which were perfectly prepared and wonderfully delicious. Also ate outside this time and the patio just adds to the great meal and stellar service.
April 2022 – My only regret in dining at D’Floret was being so distracted by the great food, that I forgot to take photos! First time visiting was this past Friday. We had a 6:00 reservation and were seated promptly upon arrival. (I’d definitely recommend reservations). Our two appetizers were Gnocchi and a Wild Mushroom Lobster tart – both excellent, best gnocchi I’ve ever had. And being indulgent, we also had a Foie Gras which was equally great. Our mains were a Seared Ahi Tuna, cooked to perfection, and Faro Island Salmon over Creamed Spinach which again, was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Promising ourselves we’d skip dessert proved futile and the Chocolate Royale on a bed of Hazelnut Praline disappeared in what had to be under a minute! Delicious! A new favorite eatery for us, we’ll be back … Soon!

We finally got to experience De Floret and we were extremely impressed. Quaint and charming spot in Lambertville . Off the beaten path a bit so it was quiet and parking was no problem. Well staffed and the servers were very friendly. Aps, mains and deserts were perfect. The courses were served at a perfect pace . We will for sure be back!!!

Another great experience. It’s the 3rd year celebrating hubby’s birthday here & it was perfect. Service was attentive & the food tasted great. We were disappointed the swordfish was finished, but we enjoyed other fish. Friends came along with us & they seemed to like it alot also. It was fun when the whole restaurant joined in singing happy birthday!

Our meal at D’floret was absolutely delicious! We started with a puff pastry and mushroom appetizer that was perfectly balanced. I had tortellini for my entree, and it was the best cooked tortellini I’ve had. My husband got the rack of lamb special, and it totally blew his mind. We shared two desserts that were decedent, yet light. We also dined on their patio which was a pleasant surprise!

Had the best meal of my life here last night!! The husband/wife duo restaurant is like sitting in someone’s kitchen, surrounded by beautiful art while being fed incredibly crafted food with the owners talking to you personally, making sure you are enjoying every moment. I can’t stop thinking about the truffle cream pasta. Will be back again soon!

My husband took me for my birthday, at the suggestion of his friend who took his wife for her birthday. It was incredibly delicious. We had the tuna tartar and mushroom puff pastry appetizers, they were both outstanding and completely different. The puff pastry was rich and savory while the tartar was chilled and refreshing with a lemon sorbet on top. The entrees where the show stoppers though, wild board and rack of lamb. We both wanted to lick our plates. Eat here, you won’t regret it.
