I hate to write negative reviews. HATE IT!!!! People work really hard and sometimes have off days… but we went here a few times hoping it would get better. 1st time ribs were great, brisket wasn’t great and sides were rough… The next time everything was bad and $70. The final time was with my parents and afterwards I had to stop and get food on the way home Because none of us could eat our meals. Also if your gonna charge extra for coleslaw, make sure it’s not spoiled.

And if you have a great waiter like Gregory it’s practically seventh Heaven. He answered all our questions and checked our status frequently.
My spouse had the Smokin’ Rib platter with the savory sauce and said it was one of the best ribs she has had in a long time.
Me, Mr. Big Eyes, had the Mexican tacos — very good, brisket chili which was excellent AND the Nuttin’ But Meat platter with savory sauce. ALL the meats were great, especially the brisket and ham.
Forget about Arby’s… DB’s has the meats!
Cheap because I have another meal for the both of us.
Ambiance “railcar 60s”, electric blues playing on the speakers… the best atmosphere for BBQ.
Highly recommended.

This is 1 star dining….maybe. This place is take out only or eat outside at a picnic table. It is not a restaurant. Our dinner was Brisket platter $15.82, 2 Meat Platter $19.95, Beef Brisket Sandwich 12.64 and then they upcharged .55 each for the sides of coleslaw!!! Pepsi in a bottle $2.99, Lemonade (from mix not fresh squeezed) $3.64, bottled water $2.25. Total Meal = $62.42 …. The portions were small for the price and food was only average at best. Never Again! And this wasn’t the worst of it. The signs say open until 8pm. They closed at 7:34pm so we couldn’t refill our drinks and they refused to serve a customer who came at about 7:40pm. Very poor business practices. There are much better BBQ restaurants in Brookville and Penfield.

Ribs, mac and cheese and beans were excellent tasting service was good..
Only got a 3 star instead of 5 cause the Rib prices over double the $$cost for our area$53 for full rack??? Crazy man crazy.. if i wasn’t in a limited time frame would have went someplace else.

Our first experience dining here today…
To say we will never go back is an understatement!!
They didnt have the pickles, didnt have the twinkies, didnt have Mexican tacos, and worst of all NO CHICKEN!!! At 3p!! How does that happen?? Gawd knows what else they didnt have, those were just the things we asked about!!
I 100% get that it is a small business, but that was a little much!! The kid working was the only one there and stated that today was his first day!!
Felt bad for him honestly that he had to be the messenger of everything!!
The sauce was more like a glaze, we were upcharged .55 cents (I get its only. 55 cents, but no where on the menu or a sign did it state there was an upcharge) for the coleslaw. It stated to choose 2 sides. The only note of an upcharge was for the mac n cheese!!
The ribs were half tender half tough, the beans were very spicy.
Very disappointed in a $50 meal that we couldn’t even eat half of each platter!!

We had delicious pulled chicken sandwiches & the sides were great too. Eating in the dining car was a nice touch. Highly recommend for great bbq.

Just got my first meal here, really good ribs and the sides (I got slaw and pit beans with Texas toast) are very tasty..they will hopefully be very successful and ill certainly go back..very friendly people also.
