So- I heard about the Boudin King Cakes and had to try them. We couldn’t get through by phone to order, so we had to drive over. Ordered for the next day, but they were late by about an hour on pick up time. I’m told this isn’t usual but our order was overlooked. Apparently, these things take hours to cook.

Deer burritos are amazing. Went in to show my girlfriend the place when we were visiting out of town. We also needed a specialty ingredient for some Tasso we were making ourselves. They were able to help us out so we didn’t have to search all over Baton Rouge. 🙂

It would have been better but something about finding hair in my food just doesn’t sit quite right with me. In fact, it turned my stomach. I had ordered the smoked chicken bites and there was a string of hair cooked on my meat. Huge turn off. This is actually the second time having this happen. To the staff you guys may want to use hair nets moving forward.

We had the steak wrapped in bacon and stuffed with pepper Jack cheese and it was AWESOME!!! I also was told by a cute little old lady customer that I had to try the boudin balls … so got a couple of those in regular, pepper jack and can’t remember the other one but they were so good!!! I also got some jerky bc I became hungry while I was in there from the smell of all the delicious food cooking!!! I can’t wait to go back!!!
