You’ve got to try this hotdog spot out for yourself. My Dawg had chili, cheese, onions, and mustard which was so delicious. My sweet tea was perfect. The customer service was exceptional and I’ll definitely be back!

I never tried this establishment when it was Nina’s coney shack. I just tried it last weekend and wow, I’m glad I finally tried it. I love that I can easily drive up, see the menu, order, and barely have a wait. I’m also glad that cards are accepted. I ordered two chili cheese conies, the buns were soft and warm, everything tasted so fresh and hot. I definitely will be coming back to try more. UPDATE: they are open until 7pm which is awesome! Now I can come after work.

Let me start by saying the food is good. When u can get it. We placed an order for a hotdog and a hotlink. 26 minutes later a kid comes out to tell us they are out of hotlinks. After that long of a wait we asked for a refund. 10 minutes later we have to go to the window to get our debit card and the refund. While waiting at the window we talked to 4 other people that had been waiting 25 minutes for their food. I hope they figure out how to serve a hotdog in a more timely manner.

The name says it all. We had driven by this place alot, and it wasn’t open when we did. Today was a good day, we found it open. Menu consist of hot dogs and hot links with assorted toppings. We ordered a chili cheese dog with onions, a Mac and cheese barbecue dog, a plain hotlink with mustard, 2 bags of chips and drinks all for 15 dollars. The hotdogs with their respective toppings were delicious. They do over frito chili pie on the menu. The chili on the dog was really good, so I imagine the chili pie is good also. Not an inside restaurant. They have a drive thru, or bench seating under the awning were you order, probably can sit 5 or 6. Fun outside seating even on this hot summer day. Just a concession stand hot dog stand but they do it well. Check it out and bite a dog for a change.

Definitely disappointed. I’ve heard about Dawg pound on tik tok & other social media sites and decided we’ve got to try it. First we went through the drive through & sat next to the window for 10 min just to not be greeted so we parked and went to the window. Stood at the window for another unknown amount of time & still wasn’t greeted. I literally had to knock on the window to receive assistance to order my food. We got the Mac dog & chili cheese dog. The macaroni was so soggy, the noodles mushed together with the cheese, you couldn’t even tell they were noodles anymore. Chili tasted like canned chili & was charged $2 for a small can of pop that costs .50 at the store down the street. We definitely won’t be back and will stick with HOT RODS HOT DOGS where we’ve never been disappointed.

The place was very clean, friendly staff. The coneys were fresh and taste great. Very reasonable prices. 100% beef hot dogs, owners chili recipe, buns are steamed. Great place to visit. They also have frito chili pie, i haven’t tried it but I intend to soon.
