Nothing wrong with the food, service, or atmosphere when I stopped by yesterday. When I asked what kind of corned beef they serve (I’m not buying lunch meat) the cashier replied REAL corned beef. And it sure is real! I’m enjoying my leftovers for breakfast as I type.

Friday fish fry. They had catfish and perch. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I took some home and my wife gave me approval to eat there again. With one exception, next time bring her own separate plate. We cook fish at home almost every Friday. My wife now says kitchen closed on Friday.

I was excited about this place but the hotdogs I got were dry overcooked and very skinny. It was 7 in long and the bun was only 5 in long. The relish pickles and toppings were good. The quality of the hotdog just really brought everything down. They’re expensive for what they are too about $9 for the Chicago dog my daughter’s corn dog was $7.50 and it was less than 4.5 in long with a thick batter. So im assuming the hotdog was only 4 in long! It must be the location that made it expensive. Sam’s club hotdogs were twice as big and more satisfying. I don’t know how it is everyday but during our visit we waited a while for our hotdogs and fries. There were only 2 people working in the kitchen. Maybe that’s why the hotdogs were overcooked. This place is in a food court so there’s other selections in the area. 3rd hall in the old grand avenue mall is stiill worth visiting.

Fantastic food, the loaded cheese fries are out of this world! Super nice staff, smiled and chatted. They were a little slow but the food made up for it. Sports bar area of the food court so it was loud but fun!

Had a great meal at Dawg City Hotdog last weekend. Busy day with a convention in town, but they served hot and fresh food as fast as they could within a packed food hall. Highly recommend the Santa Fee hotdog and Buffalo Chicken Poutine!
