I really miss when this sushi spot was in downtown and an AYCE buffet with its sushi boats. I used to come here before and during Covid and ate right after work and went home happy!
Today, (December 23, 2025) it’s new location is in a building with many individual shops in the middle of housing area. I went to try some Matcha drinks and they had a self order menu, which had a good amount of drink options including matcha. There is lots of seating, cute decor, and friendly staff!
My sister ABSOLUTELY LOVED her matcha drink! We finally found a good spot near home! (Rather than having to go to Sacramento or Bay Area)
Next time I’d like to go and order some of their sushi along with some more matcha or course!

Awesome family restaurant. If you’re in a time crunch, I would order online. The menu is very diverse and the quality of the food is unmatched. My go to food and desert place in Davis. I recommend checking out their sister company Anti-Monday. The best chicken katsu, sushi, coffee, and cookies. But anything on the menu does not disappoint.

Good substitute for another closed sushi-buffet in Davis. $14.95 for lunch per person. Pretty good quality and variety. Some food for raw fish haters))). Not bad for japanese cafe variety of desserts. A little bit crowdy and noisy on Saturday. Long wait for menu’s order, but was not dissappointed because we needed a time to eat other rolls.)))

Food is so good and fresh. We were greeted and served at our table immediately. It’s very quiet and we enjoyed that.

The service was ok but relatively slow. Some of the sushi are good, such as King roll and Lion King, but we feel the obvious difference between this place and other sushi buffet like Fuji sushi in Vacaville. Don’t expect too much of quality here, and if you sit on the “bar”, choose an “upstream” seat as you get to take the plates on boats before others take it.

Sushi and hot foods here is pretty damn good, especially for an all you can eat restaurant. Seems like a mom, pop and son operation so service time can be a little slow sometimes, albeit polite.
Asides from a bar, there is a small hot foods buffet and a menu, where you can order food with the waiter (no additional cost).
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will be returning many times in the future!

If you want your money’s worth this is the place. The other reviews are correct, the portions are generous and the employees are extremely kind! Pork Katsu was super crisp, sushi was fresh, tempura tasty and not too oily. They mainly do takeout orders so don’t expect the most handsome dine-in experience, it’s very casual. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a simple sushi spot, it did not disappoint.

The sushi is decent, can’t say its great, but its not bad either. I went there when is was 107 degrees so maybe that made a difference in the sushi. But for the price you pay the quality of the fish is pretty good. They have a large variety of stuff that you can grab from the sushi boats or rolls made upon request.
