A very nice fusion restaurant between Asian (Korean) and Italian.

The combination of the food worked really well.

The drinks were also pretty good. Would recommend the Hentai Punch.

Unfortunately there was only one waitress serving the entire place, but she was very lovely and accommodating. Due to that the service was a bit slow, but nothing too bad.

I had the Korean BBQ briskets. They were very juicy and tender and went well with the rice. And the quantity was also pretty good for the price. Just wish there some picked onions or something similar to cut the sweetness so that I could enjoy it a bit more.

They offered free homemade limencello shots along with the check which was a nice surprise.

The ambience and music was also pretty good (they switched between Italian and Asian inspired music).

All in all it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend for a visit.

I really like coming here. Since the rebrand, I’ve come several times with different people and everyone has found it a fun concept. I love that it is unusual, and sometimes that isn’t for everyone, as you can see in the reviews here.
The orange chicken parm is awesome, I could eat that everyday. Also the dumplings, bao buns, and Italian chicken curry are delicious. I so wish they still had the Italian wedding ramen from the opening menu, because that was so good I still talk about it all the time . Please bring it back! Haha
Also I appreciate that they have a truly unique cocktail menu and all drinks come out looking beautiful. I once met the bartender working on creating the new menu and you could tell they really worked hard on the taste and presentation of new ideas.

This was an interesting concept. The ribs were really tender and had good flavor but not sure it fit the Italian Asian theme. The orange chicken parm was good but not great. Its the typical chicken parm with a hint of orange in the sauce. Overall solid experience

I’ve always loved The Flannel, so I wss happy to see the owner decided to do something different. I decided to stop by for happy hour—and it did not disappoint! The whole experience was amazing. Every drink was top-notch—great quality, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with care.
The food was just as impressive: delicious, well-portioned, and reasonably priced. It’s clear they put thought into every detail, from the flavors to the presentation.
Now I’m even more excited to come back for the full dinner experience. If you’re looking for a spot with great vibes, quality cocktails, and seriously good food, this place is a must-visit!

Come very hungry or be prepared to enjoy a full take-home container of leftovers from your entrees. Everything we tried was delicious and perfectly seasoned in the amount of spicyness for my taste. We shared a bao appetizer, and had the chicken parm with noodles and brisket for our entrees. The service was friendly and attentive. The owner even stopped by our table for feedback as we shared a tiramisu dessert. They had a broad selection of drink options. The walls are covered with colorful Asian-inspired graphics and there was loud alt music playing to reinforce the party atmosphere. Recommend making a reservation if you’re coming for dinner on the weekend.

If you’re looking for a fun night out with a unique dining experience in south Philly, I highly recommend visiting Davinci and Yu on Passyunk Avenue.

We had the Black Cod Dumplings—sooooo tasty—Italian Asian Wedding Ramen with brisket and dumplings and the Bresaola, Proscutto and Pepperoni Pizza and both were excellent. A super yummy yuzu cocktail on the side and we were happy campers.

Service was attentive and courteous and we were sat at a 2 seater by the open windows on a beautiful night and it was so lovely!

Try it out soon!

I really wanted to like this restaurant after seeing these nice IG posts. Came here sat at the bar on a Thursday night, ordered a drink and an appetizer. Both were disappointing. Thursday night is their karaoke night, but the restaurant was empty. The vibe was off, but maybe it’s just that particular night is like that.
Their happy hour menu shows food and drinks are all $9 each, but when I asked for the check, it’s $10 on the check. I asked the bartender to change the price, she gladly did, but only took a dollar off the drink. I didn’t even bother to ask her again. Unfortunately, not gonna be back to this place.

There’s a lot of great restaurants in town, but this place is phenomenal. They’re labeled as Asian fusion but they also have fare like shakshuka (my favorite), burgers, and excellent cornbread.

Bea the bartender also does homemade cocktails. Ever have a ‘hot honey cordial’? If you haven’t, you need to. It’s like a healing potion would taste like in real life.

Lots of places have great food and atmosphere, but I come out of this place feeling actually restored. A great place for weekend brunch or to stop in if you’re walking around Passyunk Ave. 10/10 would recommend

was dying to try this place but disappointed because it just fell a little short.

drinks — we all loved the cocktails we got, definitely a standout

apps — kung pao bao and aransushi were delicious but didn’t scream fusion. the aransushi was just crispy rice.

dishes — bbq brisket was tasty but came out cold, not even warm ; orange chicken parm was basically a middle of the road chicken parm with orange zest. the pasta was just mid spaghetti; miso cacio y pepe was good but very rich and could have had more miso flavor. i’m glad we tried 3 separate dishes because i know i couldn’t have eaten a whole (or half) a portion of any one of these.

something must have been going on at the time that they were trying to compensate for because staff became flustered and came around with free desserts. tiramisu was great but you can leave the tofu flan lol.

overall had a great time trying different things, definitely a place where you can get a bunch of entrees to just split and talk about what you like/don’t like. service was great and our server was knowledgeable, personable, and answered all questions. but you can tell they’re still in a workshopping phase with the food and otherwise.

Sounded oddly interesting so decided to give it a shot. Still think it could work, but felt like the dishes weren’t really there yet, with the fusion not consistently effective and overall an okay dinner but nothing that felt like a must-eat standout.
Best bite was the miso cacio y pepe–but the miso was subtle and could’ve been played up more. The orange chicken in the orange chicken parm was juicy and tasty but the spaghetti felt like a separate dish, not complementary. I feel like could’ve paired the pasta with like an orange basil sauce to play up the concept but with more complementary flavors. The black cod steamed dumplings were a tasty starter. The bao buns were okay but nothing to write home about. We had the ube espresso martini and the lemon drop inspired one and both seemed like the balance was off–the martini was a little flat and the other one lacked expected sweetness.
The meal was served quickly but service was uneven. Multiple servers were serving our table but didn’t appear to be talking to each other so we’d have someone asking for our order after we put it in. No big deal, but then oddly inattentive in terms of refills or when it came time for the check.
Might give it another try once it’s been around longer, but not in a hurry to go back with all the great restaurants around.
No problen finding street parking on a weekday night.
