Great place to get a bite on a nice summer day!! The staff were friendly and very helpful. They didn’t rush through taking our big order and they got everything right the first time. Plenty of parking and places to eat outside. There is seating inside, but we chose to eat outside under the canopy at a picnic table area.

Best Gyro I have ever had! Fried shrimp was tender and delicious. Kids loved the curly fries and onion rings. Large menu so plenty of options, much of it fried but not all. Salads and ice cream available. Nice place to eat outside and room for the kids to play and get some energy out while we waited. Would go back!

In my season-long quest for outdoor roadside eateries, today I landed at Dave’s Place. Delicious 1/4 lb hamburger and fries served with a large soft drink for $13 and some change. Good portions, friendly service, good price. I definitely recommend!

It was a wonderful place for children. They charge a high entrance fee and then charge for a short train . That should be included. Staff were pleasant. There was food to purchase the kids enjoyed that. There were plenty of places to sit if you needed to.

The place had a wide variety of food but none of what i ordered was good. My family and I ordered fries, chicken, burgers, chili, etc. We got food that tasted like I got it at a middle school cafeteria. Everything came out fast but my boyfriend was overcharged. The woman who took our order was very rude and short. The chili tasted like dog food and the crab cakes sucked. I recommend the desserts but just about none of the food. Honestly just skip the place and go to Mcdonald’s.

Friendly people. Nice set up with outdoor tables. Unfortunately for me, the clam chowder gave me food poisoning. I thought it tasted a little funny but figured everyone’s got a different recipe and ate it anyways. Only to find myself repeatedly vomiting and having diarrhea soon after, and throughout the night.

Brought my nephew for Lobster Rolls, he ate two, said they were a 10 on scale of 1 to 10, they were heaping with lobster. he got an order of fries, was a plate full of fries, which were excellent. cole slaw was excellent too.

I was on the road at lunch time and stopped in. I love local independent places and David’s was great. A lot of reasonably priced choices so I hope I have a chance to go back. I had the steak bomb sandwich which was really good. I didn’t have to wait but I bet it gets busy.

Service was fine but I don’t think I’ve ever had more flavorless fried clams in my life. The batter lacks seasoning and those clams were so tiny I thought they goofed and gave me strips instead but nope. I did find about five pea-sized bellies in the mix. The tartar sauce is odd, too. So chunky you can’t dip in it. Half the meal wound up in the trash. So not worth $30. One and done.

I’m honestly surprised this place isn’t rated higher. We stopped in after visiting the Dinosaur Place across the street and had a great experience. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious. I had the lobster roll, my husband got a burger, and our son had a hot dog — all of it hit the spot. The menu has a nice variety, and there’s plenty of outdoor seating, which made it perfect for a casual, family-friendly meal.
