There’s a lot of patty places in Miami but hard to find decent ones. Used to come here because their patties were fresh, beef seasoned enough. Price point is very fair. They also take credit card/Apple Pay which many Haitian bakeries tend not to use. However it’s been 2x that I’ve ordered and the patties have felt like they are old, hard just not fresh how they usually have been. And when ive tried to call to bring attention to the matter no one answers the phone. They are polite in person though

I come once a month and it gets better and better every time. The food is so authentic and delicious. I am multi cultured foody for sure and every taste is of perfection. Cute and quaint. The seafood tomtom was amazing. They give you a great portion of food, the seafood sauce tasted great, and the added crab leg was so satisfying. Please never change the recipe.

David’s Bakery & Restaurant is a cozy spot with great Haitian vibes and even better hospitality. As a vegan, my options were a bit limited, but the staff was super accommodating and kind. I enjoyed the Diri Kole and Marinade—both were flavorful and satisfying. I was excited to try Akra, but unfortunately, it contains fish aransò, so it wasn’t an option for me. Still, the warm service and authentic atmosphere made the visit worthwhile. If you’re vegan, you’ll find something, but options could expand. Great place overall!
