I ordered the Trout platter at Dave’s Seafood and was extremely disappointed. The fish was unbelievably bland, and to make matters worse, even the hot sauce had no flavor. I’ve never had a meal so lacking in taste. If you’re looking for good food, this is definitely not the place. I do not recommend it.

When I say 10 out of 10! I truly mean it. My first time coming here. Every part of my meal was on point! Collard Greens seasoned just right. Shrimp and Scallops fried to perfection! Mac and Cheese very cheesy! Even the Sweet Tea had just the right amount of sugar in it! Prices are great for what you get! Definitely a Top Tier Food Spot!

The service was good but the food was disappointing. So the catfish is actually Swai and that was a turn-off. I got the three fish combo and, while I was able to see the difference, I wasn’t able to taste the difference. The mashed potatoes were made from boxed flakes and for the price, I felt things could have been a higher quality. This all seemed to be cafeteria food. Unfortunately, once was enough.

Service was excellent but food was not the best. Called and placed order. Asked about curbside pickup, she said come inside to pickup order, if vaccinated, no mask required, if not vaccinated, then please wear mask or face covering. I asked for tartar sauce, she gave me 2 packs of tartar sauce. Asked if I needed ketchup, more tartar sauce and forks. I asked for 2 more tartar sauce, she gave 2 more tartar sauce. She told me to get an apple juice out of the refrigerator for the kids meal.

Not easy to find affordable seafood in Northern Virginia. If you don’t mind it being fried, this is a place to check out.

Decent fried seafood. The staff is friendly but I did not like the fact that the gentleman in the kitchen was using his barehands while touching and preparing the bread, sandwiches, etc. He should be wearing gloves.period. Otherwise the restaurant is clean and welcoming. When I was there the shop was slammed busy.

I ordered the fried flounder with mashed potatoes and collard greens. It’s ok. The fish was a little dry and a little tough to chew and you can tell they are not using the freshest cooking oil to fry it in. But it’s not overseasoned, I would even say it’s underseasoned for my linking. But overall its not bad if you have the taste for fried fish and looking for a quick fix. I would only go here sparingly.

Absolute amazing place to eat traditional fried American food done right by Americans! The prices are fair and there’s a good variety of drinks and sides. The mac & cheese is amazing no matter what that other guy says. To the guy that said it’s not American owned anymore, it most certainly is I guess you just got a problem on what kind of Americans they are. Also, pretty sure they are Korean. Or at least that’s what my Chinese Buddy tells me! But since it is Asian American owned now we are forced to eat with chopsticks.
