I love it!!! The people were so nice and polite the shrimp boil was the BEST THING EVER! Their smiles are so contagious, you can’t help but smile when you’re there! They really give you your moneys worth of food! Me and my father went here and we were only there for like 1 hour it’s was so nice! We will definitely be coming back soon!!!

We were greeted and seated immediately, which was nice, and the restaurant itself is very clean. The dining area is a large open room, but it’s very noisy — the sound really echoes.

One thing that didn’t make much sense to us: you can’t split a dozen oysters between different types. You have to order them by the half dozen, which ends up being more expensive. That was a little frustrating.

We ordered The Kenny Specialty Baked Oysters and the Specialty Baked Oyster Rockefeller. Both were good, served with crackers and horseradish. The service was friendly and efficient, no complaints there.

The biggest downside (besides the noise) was how cold it was inside — uncomfortably so. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there are a few things that could make it a lot better.

We got the fish po’boy and grilled shrimp taco lunch specials with side salads. The ranch was house made. The catfish sandwich was HUGE and came with a very good chipotle mayo. The grilled shrimp tacos were great too! Excellent service!

BEST OYSTERS ON THE EMERALD COAST
My husband and I are raw oyster enthusiasts, and Dave’s has earned our loyalty as long-time repeat customers for one simple reason: unmatched consistency.
Over countless visits spanning over 7 years, Dave’s has never once disappointed. Every single time, their oysters are expertly shucked with zero debris or cracked shells, a level of care and skill that’s rare to find. The quality never wavers: perfectly sized, ice-cold, and impeccably fresh every visit.
In our experience, consistency is the true mark of excellence, and Dave’s delivers it flawlessly. Whether it’s our first visit of the season or our fifth that month, we know exactly what we’re getting: the best oysters on the Emerald Coast, prepared with the same attention to detail every time.
If you’re looking for a restaurant where “always delicious” isn’t just a promise but a proven track record, Dave’s is it. Highly recommend!

We super loved this place. We had oysters, salmon from Denmark, and Cobia fish. Great sides, generous portions and a local craft-draft served in a Mason jar. Our favorite restaurant out of an entire month of eating at the best Florida seafood restaurants we could find. It had the feel of a family run business, everybody helping everybody. Awesome atmosphere with lots of big fish and game animals on the wall. Can’t wait to go again.

I stop here every time I roll into town. (We live north of Atlanta)This year we were vacationing in Ft Walton and made a special trip over to Gulf Breeze to fix that craving. Everything we’ve ever ordered at Dave’s is fantastic and my personal favourite is buffalo shrimp and raw oysters. I can’t wait to see you all again sooner than later!

If you like oysters then this is the place to go. Cold beers, a great selection of oysters as well as fish. Calamari is excellent, our main course of oysters and shrimp was also delicious. The service was friendly with a local ambiance. Definitely a must stop for seafood in Gulf breeze.

First time visiting. Wanted oysters but sadly enough no raw oysters or cheese grits. A busy night. Great service. Good food. Our waitress, Meagan, was on point with drinks and ensuring we had what we needed. Very friendly staff. Tables cleaned immediately after use. Loved the fish and the grilled chicken. Expected bigger size calamari. Still good. We also liked the strawberry and cream bread pudding. Added vanilla ice cream. Just be ready to spend $9 for the dessert combo. Overall good experience.

Our first time to Dave’s was very good. We’ve been in Navarre for 2 years and just found it. Staff is very friendly and the food was very good. Prices are good, especially with the portions you get. We will definitely be back.

Got there at 8:05, kitchen shut down at 8. But they served me gumbo & a salad & would have served me raw oysters. Salad was large & very fresh. Gumbo was full of shrimp, chicken, sausage, & okra & very tasty but a little on the mild side – could & should have added a little hot sauce which was sitting right in front of me. Ate at the bar. They were cleaning up as I ate & at 8:30 I was the last customer to leave.
