TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This place is my DREAM! For someone who lives for spicy food, this place is amazing. Wide variety of spices to choose from, then drinks to ease the pain. The fact that they are able to have a spice level for almost any kind of person, makes Dave’s Hot Chicken versatile for any occasion. I always make sure to have the Dave’s #2 with two sliders and fries. Make sure not to skimp out on the pickles, they balance out the spiciness of the chicken meat itself. Speaking of spiciness, their spice blend is incredible and is especially good for the medium and hot spice levels. Service is always good and you get your food quite quickly after you order. 3.5 stars. Had a #4. Good chicken fry. Fries are seasoned and quite good. All in all a decent chicken sandwich. Albeit the buns are a bit on the campy size. Get the medium hot level. My mild was tame. As always, post wherever u end up new.
