TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Tried Dave’s Hot Chicken for the first time and it was such a great experience. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, not dry at all. The seasoning had a great texture and taste, the pickles were fresh, and the bread wasn’t soggy. I didn’t even get sides and it was still the perfect portion where I felt satisfied but not overly full.
The restaurant itself felt clean and fresh, with lots of windows so it didn’t feel closed in. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff had great customer service. They checked in to see if I needed anything else and made me feel genuinely welcomed. Overall, a really great first visit. I’ll definitely be back.

The store manager / employee asked me for a review so I did. While the taste was good the tenders are not consistently portioned.
On a previous visit the Spicy tender was not spicy at all, so that was also disappointing

This was my first time ever at the fast food chain. I just went inside to look at the menu and see if I would even like to try it since I been hearing mixed reviews. The gentleman named Alex must have seen my hesitation and asked if I need any help. He was able to explain throughly the whole menu and even helped me with my order. Alex made this experience easy and delightful. When I was finished eating he went out of his way to ask how was the experience and if there was anything they could improve on. Excellent customer service from Alex and this will now be one of my regular spots.

This place is very clean with creative paintings on the wall, very colorful. The customer service was great, it was our first time here and the cashier answered all of our questions nicely. There are kiosks to order your food if you’d rather do that. The food was great. We ordered the chicken sandwiches, mild and medium and it was just the amount of heat we were wanting. The fries are seasoned and very yummy too. Everything was freshly cooked to order, which is great for those wanting their food temperature hot. The restrooms were very clean and smelled good too. There is indoor seating with great air conditioning, and there is also outdoor seating if you’d prefer that. We will definitely come back here.

This was our first time and Yazmin R. was our server and she was friendly and went over and beyond on Customer Service which is rare nowadays. She helped us out by going over the different options on the heat or just getting mild chicken.Our food was fresh and so delicious! Hope to see one in our neck of the woods High Desert Victorville.We visited the Monrovia CA location. Next closest one will be in Ontario Ca.Hope to visit that one soon! Wow, this place is great!.. probably my new favorite chicken sandwich. It seems like they cook to order. My chicken and Fries came out hot and crispy. That makes such a big difference. I’m tired of going to fast food only to get my food cold/warm. I’m glad I finally gave this place a chance.

Tried Dave’s Hot Chicken today for the first time. The staff were very friendly,, professional, and extremely helpful. We ordered the number three which came with one tender and one slider, french fries or you could sub it for macaroni and cheese which we did we got Miles and medium and medium and hot. I can tell you that the ribs are much different than the sauces, hot wings. I can normally have a medium and hot but the rub was so hot that the mild was extremely hot. I didn’t know what to expect because I have never been to Dave’s hot chicken, so I was surprised when the chicken wasn’t saucy, the kale salad in the sandwich with the pickles and the Dave sauce was good. The sandwich size is really big I would say it’s more of a sandwich than a slider. I was so full I couldn’t even eat the tenders so I had to bring it home. The Dave sauce is really tasty. The kale slaw is good I’m not really sure about The macaroni and cheese however, it does help with the burning sensation you get from the chicken the chicken was cooked well and it was nice and juicy inside but again the rub was layers of flavor and a little bit on the hot side so when ordering definitely try the mild and may be a medium before getting all crazy we were told by Kylie, that if you try it with some honey, but that’s a must. They also suggested that the number two was the most popular item on the menu. However, we went with the number three so we had a variety we got icewater which we were pleasantly surprised to find out that they had baby ice, the seating was great and the paintings inside of the location were super cool and again the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and came to check on us after they serve the food to see how we were liking everything not once but twice if you haven’t been 10 out of 10 totally recommend checking it out again if you’re expecting buffalo wings, this is not buffalo wings. This is a whole different experience, but again I recommend.
