TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Ordered two sliders with fries and added an additional tender. The chicken pieces were of generous size and came out nice and hot but there was hardly any slaw on the sliders and the bread was cold. The fries were lukewarm.
Overall, a good meal, although a bit on the pricey side, especially if you press one of the tip options which starts at 15% and goes higher. For service like this where the customers are ordering and picking up the food at the counter, there should be lower tip options without having to customize.

Happy Birthday drake , I got free chicken today , Recently it’s my first time having Dave’s Hot Chicken I was so impressed and taste is excellent. I wish this branch is in beside Lewisville Costco center so that they get more sales in prime areas . Thank you Alex for helping at the counter

Girl….. I’ve never had such a crunchy yummy slider… 10/10. The Mac and cheese buffalo is also so amazing. Can’t wait to order some more spicier sliders. Seasoning is perfect! Flavorful angelic food! Love this place! Update: ate there 3 days in a row now best munchies

I order the 2 sliders one medium heat and one hot heat when opening the container the sliders size is pretty big and delicious . I cut them both in half and became a meal for 2 people to share. The medium low heat but flavorful and hot heat had some spice to it and still flavorful the Fries are well seasoned and good .

First time at Dave’s Hot Chicken and they DID NOT disappoint! Food was fantastic…tender chicken, crispy and flavorful (I tried medium heat). Fries were seasoned and pickles were crisp. Absolutely delightful for kicking off 2025‼️ Store was clean and I loved the decor…chic graffiti with a ton of color. Such…a…vibe! Customer service from Michelle…fantastic! Will definitely return.

I arrived today about 10:26 when I went in I got an ugly look , I didn’t think it would be a problem to arrive 30 minutes before closing .
As I was ordering the guy was turning off the sign with a control. I waited for my order for about 15 minutes when I get home and open my box I was very very disappointed because everything was so cold and the chicken was horrible , the Mac and cheese was cold.
If I would have thought that would be my results for coming 30 minutes before closing I wouldn’t have wasted my $18. Lessened learned. I hope they check their cámaras and fix their staffs faces. If coming 30 minutes before closing such a problem might as well change your times.

Stopped by Dave’s Hot Chicken, and it was just okay. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, but the chicken lacked flavor—it didn’t have the bold, well-spiced taste I was expecting. For all the hype, it didn’t quite live up to it. Not terrible, but definitely overrated in my opinion. Wouldn’t rush back, but might give it another try with a different spice level.
