TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

ordered the sliders meal to try for the first time. chicken honestly wasn’t nothing to special was expecting something better flavor wise; it’s dry rubbed flavored chickens. coleslaw didn’t have much flavor aspect to bring to the sliders aside from the added crunch texture. pickles were a nice addition to the sandwich & the sauce was as well. restaurant space isn’t much if your considering dining in so beware if with a group!

Im a first timer and the food is good! I picked medium for my spice range just to try it out. Unfortunately, it wasnt hot enough for me. So next time imma raise the heat level to extremely hot! The loaded fries topped with Mac and cheese was amazing! The only thing I have an issue is that they don’t sell fried pickles at this location. But everything else was spot on and enjoyable.

First time ever coming here. The chicken wasn’t what I expected, I expected more of a spice rather than a chilli powder. Next time will definitely get a higher spice level. The restaurant was really cool with how it was designed but super small. Can’t wait to go back

My son wanted to try this place. We stopped in Saturday around 1pm . We had to park about 3 blocks away. We entered, and there were 2 groups in line to order. There were no open tables because all 8 were full.
If you’ve never been here, you might plan to grab it to go. Luckily, a table opened up while we waited.
We ordered and received our cups. We were disappointed that there was no ice. ( I’m guessing they were so busy the machine couldn’t keep up )
I was frustrated with the lack of seating and ice. As we waited for our meal, about 30 people came in. We were fortunate to have gotten a table.
Our food arrived and well…. It was amazing! The fries were probably in the top 3 I’ve ever had. The chicken was fresh and delicious. Once I had the food, it melted my frustration away…
Definitely recommend trying this place, but I’d shoot for a week day and possibly not during lunch.
This place is busy, and I see why.
We did spend $65 for a family of 4, which seemed pricy for chicken fingers and sandwiches. Once our meal arrived, I realized we could have shared 2 meals because portions were large. I only ate 1 chicken finger because it was basically a whole chicken breast.
I had dinner left over, and everyone only ate about half or more because portions were large.
I’m looking forward to my leftovers tonight.
I’d definitely recommend this place. The medium wasn’t very hot so don’t be afraid to try spicier than that.

The food was delicious,it was good and love the kick that came with the medium hot level. The fries were amazing as well as the dipping sauce. It is pricey for what you get but the quality is amazing. Great customer service,the food was excellent snd definitely plan to try out other menu items!

First time trying, the employee recommended ordering the #3 combo, which was 1 tender and 1 slider with fries. I got the medium flavor, it was tasty it had absolutely not heat to it, I thought it would have had a slight kick to it. The slider had a pickle and the most delicious kale slaw. The slaw paired well with flavor of the chicken. I personally would have preferred more of it on the sandwich. The slider was a large as a regular sized sandwich served at other places. I will come back and recommend giving them a try.

Big portions. Great food. We heard about this place and had to try it. Since then we’ve been back at least four more times. You can get no Spice All the way up to burning your mouth off spice just depends what you can handle. I definitely recommend this place.

Dave’s Hot chicken was a first time experience after relocating back here to Kansas City. It was a break from my norm, but I have to say I was impressed. I had the HOT and didn’t try to be brave beyond that! You have different SPICY Levels to choose. My son braved the EXTRA HOT and let’s just say he claimed he was full, but I think it was the spice that got him to take the remaining home to try later ♂️ I would honestly recommend this place and enjoy the experience whatever spice level you choose.
