TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Food was excellent t. It was ready fast and was hot. It was well packaged and survived a car ride over 20 miles home. It came worn silverware and all the extras and the sauces were packaged well. Delicious and we will for sure be back.

Maybe it’s bad luck because I’ve heard a lot of good things here but my experience wasn’t great. Got the new Fallout meal as my boyfriend and I are big fans and wanted to eat when we got home. Got home and realized they didn’t give us a single fry. One of the only things to come with every meal. Tried to call and see if we could get a refund of some sort and never answered. Called multiple times. We would’ve gone back but at that point it wasn’t even worth the extra gas nor time. Most disappointing part is just not being able to even contact them for half of our meal we lost. Maybe we should’ve checked our bag but honestly we expected better here and we wanted a fun opening when we went home. I guess we have to wait until corporate gets back to us…

Yesterday night I had a misunderstanding with my order where my uber driver mismatched my order with one from raising canes. I contacted Dave’s hot chicken and Albert picked up and helped me resolve the issue. I was able to get my order corrected and done promptly. They were extremely generous and understanding with the whole situation. This is a great place to get great food and meet amazing staff members. Thank you kings <3

Tenders are SO CRISPY AND FLAVORFUL. I got a medium hot at Dave’s. The seasoning blends in with the chicken very well and the taste is just VOILA . The fries are some of the best seasoned fries in the area. The tangy sauce adds a flavorful taste to the sliders. Try adding honey for a sweet and spicy kick. The environment is great and the employees are very friendly. The only caveat I can think of is that it may be a bit overpriced but the taste makes up for those few extra dollars. Overall, a great place to get hot chicken!!

Chicken was fresh out of the fryer hot. I ordered sliders and they were huge. I ordered hot and lady kinda chuckled, but I managed. Happy I didn’t go higher.

Family liked it, but I felt it wasn’t anything special. The hot level of spice was a bit overwhelming, and the seasoning wasn’t my favorite. Tables and chairs weren’t wiped, but that’s to be expected with fast food. Workers were nice.
