TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Tasty food and packed with flavor! I especially loved their chicken and the variety of sauces — everything was seasoned perfectly.
I ordered the slider meal, and let’s just say… those are not small sliders! You definitely get your money’s worth with generous portions that leave you satisfied.
The only small downside was that the shake machine was down (sigh), but that won’t stop me from coming back.

My husband and I ordered number three combo with hot spicy level, top loaded fries, and the Neapolitan shake with Lucky charms. The chicken was crispy on the outside, super juicy on the inside, and packed with that bold Nashville style heat I was craving. The loaded fries were total flavor bomb. And the shake was creamy, nostalgic, and over-the-top in the best way. Huge shout out to Nick – – he was super helpful, friendly, and made our first visit feel extra welcoming. He answered all of our questions and even gave great recommendations. It’s always nice when the service is just as good as the food! Can’t wait to come back and maybe work up the courage to try the reaper next time! Oh forgot to add. Patio was nice!

I love this place!! The staff is always welcoming and friendly! The food is nice and hot ( temperature wise) although they do have spicy heat levels for the chicken!! It’s always so juicy and the size of the chicken tender is perfect and crunchy!! I am always so amazed with how everything is. The fries are seasoned and cooked perfectly not too crunchy not too soggy just right! I used to go to another chicken tender competitor but there’s no comparison. I’d pick Dave’s any day of the week!!!

Patrick was awesome! Very friendly & a hard worker! Always was doing something (wiping down the counters, sweeping, etc) when customers weren’t coming in to order. Dave’s is always a 10/10 food wise but this was a great experience!
