TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I went to Dave’s Hot Chicken for the fifth time. The chicken was incredibly juicy and flavorful. I loved the crunchy texture of the coating. The staff working there were very friendly and helpful. They made the ordering process quick and easy. The music playing inside made the atmosphere fun. I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family. The kids and I decided we didn’t want to cook tonight and all decided on Dave’s in Schererville and clearly everyone in the county had the same idea as us. We walked in to pick up our order and was greeted by a very happy smilling and upbeat employee that we came to find out had the name as Jami. She was absolutely amazing to us despite it being inanely busy! What made me write a review tonight, because I rarely remember to do one by the time I get home, but as we waited for our take out order, she constantly was upbeat throughout our wait greeting everyone she could with a a happy welcome! She also made things flow from what I noticed. She was constantly getting orders out, taking orders out, and etc. If this girl was not a manger here, she was above and beyond the best person I have had in any customer service setting in some time. Not only is the Mac our favorite, but her drive and upbeat personality really made the wait pleasant!!! ❤️

Best chicken sandwiches around! My family loves the medium and hot heat levels because they have the perfect kick without being overpowering. We usually go for their sliders with fries, which are crispy and seasoned to perfection. The side of pickles that come with the sliders are crisp, tangy, and the perfect bite to cut through all that delicious spice. Additionally, their shakes are absolutely worth trying! We’ve had a few different flavors and loved them all.

First time visiting this location in my wife and I were very impressed. From the person working in the counter, running through the entire menu to the food quality to the manager having a nice conversation with us would definitely come back. Food was prepared perfectly and tasted fantastic.

I have ordered three times from them on DoorDash. The food was really good, the chicken sliders were very flavorful and crispy. The fries were really well seasoned, and the Fruity pebbles shakes were good. But I wanted to order again and I saw that on menus that they no longer serve shakes, and I haven’t heard any things or news about this. I’m boycotting them because of this because there were really good and was supposed to be a per-mentally menu item. What happend.

If it wasn’t so packed all the time it would be better, but the food is all pretty good. The servers all very nice and cordial. Place is nice and pretty clean for the amount of people going in and out all the time. Very busy most of the time but the chicken and seasonings are worth the wait.

So fresh, hot and delicious It was my first time trying and it didn’t disappoint. I ate too fast for pictures. I was greatly surprised on the freshness,taste and service when they were going to close in less than a hour. They still provided quality customer service and hot fresh food. Thanks again and I will be back. BTW the reaper is was crying, nose running and excited for the heat all at the same time! Definitely a must try only if you dare..lol I had two sliders with fries. One extra hot and one reaper.
