TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

We stopped by for a quick bite but the portions size turned out to be dinner. I ordered 3 tenders which were pretty huge and came with a side of coleslaw. Cashier P was super helpful and gave me a good tip on how to save money with the right combos. Looks like a newly opened branch which was swanky clean and spotless. The place was buzzing with customers and had such a good weekend vibe. Definitely would recommend for a quick bite!

Dave’s Hot Chicken is the real deal! I ordered the Dave’s #3, which comes with 1 tender, 1 slider, and fries, and every bite was amazing. The slider was served on a soft potato bun with fresh kale slaw, crisp pickles, and a drizzle of Dave’s signature sauce the perfect mix of spicy, tangy, and savory flavors. The tender was juicy and packed with just the right amount of heat, served with sliced bread, pickles, and another side of that addictive sauce. The fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. The restaurant was spotless, and the staff was friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. You can really tell they care about quality and consistency. I left completely satisfied and already craving more. Five stars for sure I’ll definitely be coming back for another round!

1. Costs decent but the food for that price is really good in both quantity and quality.
2. We ordered
– combo of chicken slider and tender (hot) – slider is really good. Spice level hot is really spicy but flavorful and good. French fries are really good too. Even chicken tender with hot tastes such and good with side of bread. Tender size in both tender and slider is huge.
– Cauliflower bites with hot tastes unexpectedly wonderful.

As a Canadian, this chain restaurant blew my mind. I’m glad I went to this location because it was able to represent the goodness of their chicken, simply amazing. I had to go here three times within my 5 nights stay so I don’t forget the flavour. Generosity of the portions, sauce, and HONEY makes the place even better…

First visit to the Mass Ave location. Super friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was clean, bathroom was clean and had some chill vibes playing. Akira was very accommodating and greeted everyone that walked in. Definitely having again.

I got the fallout meal and got a pinch of vegetables, 2 small tenders on a basic regular bun and a side of Mac for $15. The sandwich just falls apart and the taste is bland. This was our first time trying Dave’s and we have no desire to try it again.

We ended up here on complete accident to be honest but I’m very glad I did. Honestly the logo caught my attention so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant was very clean. The staff was very friendly and happy to help. The service was extremely quick. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the small drink and the large was almost the same size. I wish the cups were bigger. The food was amazing. They had several slushy flavors too. I would highly recommend Dave’s hot chicken and I honestly look forward to going back!
