TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This was my first experience at DHC, and the food did not disappoint. This place was Uber busy! I ordered the two sliders Comboand a side of macaroni and cheese And a fruity pebbles topped milkshake (It was a big back moment for sure). Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, and my order was correct. The manager was friendly and even offered me a bandana (cause I wanted one), but they were out. I took off one star only because service was a little slow taking our food a little over 9 minutes to come out. I know whoever was cooking, was back there wishing he had extra hands because this place was a revolving door. The only other “complaint” I have, is I would have loved to have more coleslaw on my sandwich That is totally a personal preference though. I will come back again.

Each time I have gone to Dave’s hot chicken as a DoorDasher, I have appreciated how quickly I was greeted and given my customer’s food. One employee, who also had a twin sister who worked at the same Dave’s hot chicken, told me I looked exactly like her history teacher only a lot younger. LOL!
The atmosphere is pleasant, and each of the workers have been very attentive.
This led me to decide that I was going to finally purchase something during one of my Door Dashings. I got a combination of one slider, one tender along with fries and all of it was delicious. I enjoy hot food so I decided to get the extra hot level of spiciness and it was very good and the spiciness stayed with me for a good 30 minutes after I ate… a good indication that the heat of the spiciness and flavoring is going to be right on par with your taste bud tolerance.
And once again, one of the twins greeted me with a big smile and asked if I remembered her…and of course I did.
I would definitely recommend Dave’s hot chicken for the quality of food as well as the quality of Customer Service. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you like something convenient, something potentially too spicy for your pallet, and a memorable experience.
I would definitely be going back to try their reaper slider… I don’t know of any other place in Charlotte, North Carolina that sells chicken or any food for that matter, with the Carolina reaper spiciness….. we’re talking 1,800,000 SHU (Scoville Heat Units) here! And you’ve got to sign a waiver??? Whaaaaaaattt?!?!? Definitely a memorable experience to plan for.

I opted for two sliders with no spice. I got all the topping on the side seeing as I’m a very picky. Needless to say, I added slaw and honey which is a game changer. I really enjoyed this spot. 2 sliders is a lot as I only could eat 1.

Not a great first visit. Missing a 10 piece and the 3 ranch cups spilled all over the bag and all over my car.They weren’t even closed or sealed.I can say that the Chicken Sandwich was probably the best Chicken Sandwich I’ve ever had.So I guess there’s that! As long as you get your food it’s gonna be very good.. The worst part is.The meal was for the guy at work and we couldn’t go back because our lunch was over so he didn’t get to eat.

First time here. Chicken tenders and fries not bad right. The seasoning wasn’t strong enough. The price was stronger. 2 tenders a drink and small side of fries for almost 20 dollars. I won’t be back.

We love this Location. We ordered a bunch of food and didn’t realize the mozzarella sticks we ordered were not seasoned. We went and asked if we can have some seasoning in the side but instead Matthew (I think he’s the manager) gave us completely new seasoned mozzarella sticks and even came and checked on all of us plus everyone in the store to make sure everyone was satisfied. Great food even better experience! Nick was awesome! The shake machine was not working properly. He immediately offered vouchers for my next visit.
