I’m always impressed that a restaurant that serves only chicken tenders can survive. Unlike Raising Cane’s, Dave’s offers more choices for side dishes like Mac and cheese, cheese fries and coleslaw. I like the many flavor options for the tenders ranging from naked to very hot. What I didn’t like was that the seasoning was a dry rub. I like dry rubs but this was over coated. My daughter enjoyed her tenders and the dipping sauce. The mac and cheese was pretty good as well. I probably won’t go out of my way to eat there again but if my kids want to go, I’ll take them.

At an hour away, it was a planned visit that I had been looking to make since hearing of its opening. We went on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm. The restaurant was at about 50% capacity. Since visiting Nashville a couple of years ago, I have been looking for hot chicken like I had there. The Reaper was as close as I have found. I ordered the 2 tender meal plus an additional tender so I could try the hot, extra hot, and Reaper. The chicken pieces are large, and I feel they are worth the asking price. The staff was friendly and appeared happy. People who are used to chicken from KFC, PDQ, or Popeyes may not enjoy the Nashville style of chicken. As you can see from the reviews, it’s love or hate Nashville Hot Chicken. FYI, the slice of white bread is what Nashville chicken is served on. As someone else had mentioned, I was also surprised to find there wasn’t a “no tip” option at checkout, and I do believe that could keep customers from coming back, and that could be the difference between staying open or closing. I want this place to stay open because it’s the best Nashville chicken outside of Tennessee.

Had a great meal at the new Dave’s Hot Chicken in Sicklerville. We had the the combo meal because I wanted to try the sandwich and the strip. I really enjoyed them both but I did like the sandwich best. I comes with kale slaw, pickles and Dave’s sauce. My only complaint is a small one. They were very busy and no one was wiping down the tables. I do highly recommend this place.

Heard decent things about them and been wanting to try them. Stopped in today and got the #3 1-slider &1-tender. Got them at level Extra-Hot. I also upgraded to cheese fries. Ordered a side Mac&Cheese & a Oreo Shake.
Where to start. Well, shake was ok but was tasting move vanilla vs Oreo. Come to find out when I finished the liquid, all the oreo chucks were at the bottom. Smh. I guess they didn’t blend them in. The cheese fries were fine. Basic krinkle fries but with a nice seasoning on it. The cheese sauce went well with it. The chicken had a good heat to it. Especially when continously eating it. It’s a lingering heat. The chicken was pretty tender, not dried out. Finally, the Mac&Cheese. It was fine, definitely goes well with the chicken platters I feel.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The decor I like. Vibrant but not too overboard. The place was very clean. Overall, it was a good visit. Most likely cruise through again at some point.

it took them 20 minutes to realize I was at the drive-through when I told them on the speaker that I was picking up an order it was very ridiculous. I kept trying to get the guys’s attention. He was literally on his phone, the whole entire time the food was absolutely disgusting. I had such a bad experience. chicken was so dry. I threw up an hour after eating it. It was horrible. Probably will never come back here the one in Cherry Hill is so much better.
