TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Awful experience. I really wanted a late night treat on Thursday 2/26. The cashier seemed to be too busy joking around to get my order right. She got it wrong after I looked at receipt. I asked her to fix it. Manager gave me refund on part I overpaid in cash, but offered nothing for the inconvenience. The chicken came out cold and looked like it sat out all day. The side of mac and cheese was only half full and tasted burned and what I imagine a tire would taste like. I went in to complain about cold chicken and they didn’t offer refund. Just a soda which I took but didn’t need. I went back to car to try and take a bite but the food was inedible. I had to go in a third time to ask for a refund which they did honor. Wasted 30 mins and didn’t get to eat. Will not be revisiting this business and your front service needs to be more professional. She laughed when I brought the food back in, everyone on the team should care more about quality and customer satisfaction.
If this food was cheap I wouldn’t complain or make a fuss but I paid over $16 for two disgusting sides.

When my fiance and I are craving fast food, Dave’s is our go to. So today we tried out a new location while we were shopping and let me tell you it didn’t disappoint. As per usual the spice is right on point the chicken is juicy and the people in this location are super friendly too. It took us a while to get our food but they did have a lot of people when we got there. But overall, DELICIOUS! Plus, very affordable for the amount of food you’re getting. And the reason we go here is because it is HALAL. And the vibe is so unique and cool too, really like the decor inside. They’ll be seeing me soon. Definitely recommend checking them out.

Phenomenal experience. The new manager Gavin was very helpful, and it’s very apparent he cares about this restaurant. As do I, it’s my favorite chicken place by far. Good to see this place get better and better. Food is unreal and so good for the cheap price. You need to try it!

Just stopped here for lunch and after this visit I feel like this is the location that all other Dave’s hot chicken spots should aspire to be like. Been to a few other locations and can say these guys just do it better. Fast, friendly, professional and clean! This is the cleanest DHC I’ve been to. Food was good but honestly I was more impressed by the staff then anything. Good service deserves some acknowledgement, hats off to this team!

The employees always greet us with a smile & our interactions are always friendly. We love the gaffiti styled walls; each of my family has a favorite wall. The food has always been perfect. The smell hits you as soon as you walk in the door making it so hard to leave. Even the music they play is awesome, I have often caught myself singing along. My family & I are going to be regulars.

This is the best Dave’s location I have visited in the Boston area hands down. It may be because it’s new and it was less busy, but the space was very clean, the chicken tasted crispier, and there is plenty of parking outside and seating inside. Easily the best Dave’s Hot Chicken in the broader Boston area. I would definitely visit again and now prefer it to the Newton & Boston Commons location which have little to no parking or seating. Similar to other Dave’s locations the chicken is entirely halal.

Waited 35 minutes for my food. No staff. WHY ARE YOU OPEN IF THERE’S NO HELP. Countless people abandoned their orders. Management should be ashamed. Props to the man behind the counter trying to make it happen, definitely deserves to be making more money.
Lost a customer today. Would have been better if the place was CLOSED. Unbelievable!

I love how you can choose the heat level for each piece of chicken individually.
Both pieces of chicken were hot and juicy and not greasy. Bread was fresh, pickles were crisp and crunchy. French fries weren’t greasy at all and had a nice seasoning on them. Side of Dave’s sauce included with the meal was great to dip the tender in
Extra hot heat level was definitely the winner for me.
Price was about $18 with a drink. Not too bad for a quick delicious lunch. Ate at the restaurant and it was spotless. Great place check it out!

I had one of the best chicken tender sandwiches I’ve ever tasted at Dave’s Chicken. It was *delicious, flavorful, and fresh — you can really feel the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the cooks in every bite.
I traveled through four U.S. states, trying various burgers and chicken tender sandwiches, but nothing came close to this one. Now that I’m back in my country, I’m literally drooling while writing this, hoping to get another chance to eat it again someday!

Great halal food here. Parking is greatly available. Went with a friend and we got the 2 slider combo on a medium spice level, the chicken was juicy and the fries were really seasoned. The sauce included was savory and nice. Pretty sure if you get a small drink you can refill that cup however many times you want.
