The place was very clean and had a lot of cool memorabilia. The food came relatively quickly and the staff were nice. The food was great, but nothing too special. The cheese steaks were also pretty small. Otherwise a nice place, and I would recommend it .

I was told this was a historic staple to try while visiting and to say I was underwhelmed is an overstatement. Boiled hot dogs with water chili substance, old fries that had bland taste and more water chili substance that honestly would’ve been better coming out of a can from the store. The decor looks like it’s been there as long as this plaza diner has been there. Terrible food all around for the price. This is a been there done that and never again food stop. Sorry Dave, maybe the passion for the dog is gone and people continue to go there because there are no other options, but I was honestly disappointed as it was talked up so much by many folks in the area.

Atmosphere- 5 stars- 50s themed diner that is super clean and lots to look at. Love the vinyl booths. You can even sit in a bench at one of the tables that is part of a Cadillac.
Service- 3 stars- employees don’t seem overly excited to be at work but make sure to tell you about tipping when paying the bill- this is a real turnoff. It’s counter service but they do bring your food to your table. Tips are supposed to be earned not part of the tab.
Food- 4 stars- We got a pepperoni roll with sauce and cheese, two hotdogs and fries. All the food was hot and very good. Not the best pepperoni roll I have ever had but still good. Love the sweet tea here.

I’ve been wanting onion rings on my road trip, this place delivered! I ordered a philly cheesesteak and onion rings. The food was extremely hot and fresh. The aroma of the onion rings just made me even more hungry. Had to wait a few minutes to even eat my food because it was so hot. Once I was able to take a bite of the philly, I was pleasantly surprised, of all the fixings inside and the toast on the bun. Veggies were cooked perfectly, and the steak was very tender. Now, the onion rings. When I tell you I could’ve eaten 2 baskets of them, I would’ve made myself miserable doing so. The batter was thin, and the onion rings were tender and didn’t pull out of the batter. I honestly can say these are the best I’ve eaten in a very long time. The atmosphere was of an old school diner, and I enjoyed it very much. If you are in or even close, you need to go here and try it. The only thing I wish I had left room for ice cream. Great place, and I hope to come back again.

We just got ice cream this time. The lady taking our orders was new and clearly overwhelmed. It was quite a challenge getting the order right… Like combining 2 different flavors with one coneserving, it should not have been hard, but was.
At $6 for 2 scoops, a bit pricey, although the product is very good. Their other food is also good and priced better.
We liked the 1950s decor.

Service was quick and plenty of seating. Parking is enough for a decent crowd. Be careful pulling out, cars fly down the road.

This place is a must if you’re in town. What a fun environment with delicious ice cream! Our kids loved the decor, and we liked explaining what everything was (they hadn’t seen a juke box since they were toddlers and didn’t know what it was haha). We ordered the family meal they have. 10 dogs, a basket of fries, and a container of cole slaw. Their dogs come with mustard, onion, & chili on them, but you can request it all on the side if you have picky eaters.

I ordered a #4 and two hot dogs.First time ordering a burger. I requested no onion, extra pickles ,mayo,mustard,lettuce, and tomato. I got a burger with lettuce and tomato only. Burger was alright.** Also, I was able to apply the 10% off online to this order. But it doesn’t apply to specials. I couldn’t find any disclosure online, so I asked the employee.
