Dave’s Restaurant has been a part of 5 Points in downtown Waukesha since 1963. It’s one of the best spots in Waukesha daily for breakfast, lunch. In the summer we are also open on Fridays for our famous Fish Fry plus our regular menu till 9 pm. We invite you to check out our delicious food including our all day breakfast. If you’re looking for a cozy diner with classic home-cooked dishes, look no further! Dave’s has the kind of breakfast plates your gramma would make on Saturday mornings; mounds of crispy, butter-loaded hashbrowns, crisp bacon, and eggs any way you like. Food that sticks to your ribs! Their coffee is just as delicious. Service is friendly, helpful and attentive. You will not leave disappointed!

This place is a very lovely diner style restaurant! The staff is very kind, everyone was greeted as they came inside, and the food was amazing!
The atmosphere feels like a throwback to the past, giving a small town feel, when things weren’t oversaturated by the internet, and it was honestly very refreshing!
The portion sizes were really good! I definitely felt like the prices were worth it! The only thing I would complain about is that the water cup sizes are a bit smaller than I’d like, but the waitress was very on top of making sure the cups were refilled as needed, so it wasn’t that much of an issue for me!

Stopped in for breakfast on Saturday. I was immediately greeted and told I could sit anywhere. I ordered a house special with chorizo and potatoes plus tortillas (4). Also came with salsa. It was awesome. I highly recommend this breakfast dish. This was my first time here, but I will be back.

I liked the omelette I ordered. The hash browns were kind of bitter and had no flavor. The staff seem very busy but the service was still good. Four stars might be a little generous I think I’d go with 3.5 if I could.

We had a great breakfast! The breakfast sandwich was great and had a perfect mixture, I’m still thinking about it! It is a classic diner, not the biggest seating area and the tables definitely are showing some wear and tear, but the food is good.

Five stars for this restaurant!! The food is amazing! I had the corned beef hash, the kids had the 5×2 and my partner had the Mexican omelet. Hands down the best mimosa I have ever had. Sherry our server was very friendly and quick with her service. Would come here again and again. Highly recommend!!

Solid breakfast joint. Very tight quarters but it added to the Sunday AM experience, as it still has the classic quick serve breakfast joint feel. Kitchen is right behind the counter to watch all the magic. I appreciated the large creamer cup to pour from. I got the Homemade Corned Beef Hash. Flavor was outstanding. Surprised to see what I believe was deli sliced corned beef chopped up (the word homemade made me think they cooked a brisket in-house). The corned beef was still delicious and didnt have any odd coloring (i.e. pearlyness) that can sometimes be found on deli cuts. The onion & green peppers were delicious additions. Had I noticed cheese was also added I would have left it off, as I’m a bit of a purist with my CBH. Scrambled eggs were a bit overcooked for my preference and I asked for american fries but got hashbrowns. Husband ordered over hard eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns & french toast. Overall he liked it, but mentioned the french toast had a slightly odd taste. We did take home all the leftovers (half of the CBH and 1 piece of french toast) that we ate later. The service was outstanding for a busy establishment. Our food came quick and beverage refills were rapid. Everyone employed there was working hard and seemed happy to do so. Overall a satisfying experience.

Everyone here is so kind and they have great service. It was my first time here and I’d for sure be coming back soon. This is a great place to bring your date, family, or friends. The food was amazing and on point. I love it here so much. 10/10 recommend this place and getting the New York strip steak it was absolutely delicious. Please come here I really love it!!!

Nice little dinner in the center of town. Service was very friendly and fast. A reasonable selection on the menu that wasn’t too large so you can tell they know what they are doing.
