LA LA The Clown
This is a cash only diner. It’s a wonderful diner that has been around a long time, I’ve eaten at it for a lot of years, it has been a while since I’ve been there. Nothing much has changed. The food is still good. The pies look great. And the service is outstanding. I’m very happy to say that they have a new ATM machine that works properly. I remember before having to hunt around for an ATM before going over there, and a time before when the ATM machine didn’t work half the time. I’m very glad to see a brand new ATM machine there and works properly. Definitely a nice diner to get some good food. Great omelettes, and a biscuit and gravy for about 6 bucks. I forgot to ask if they have a military discount, something I normally do, I will check next time. If they don’t have, a military discount I will suggest to them, perhaps a free drink, or coffee, as the discount for military. I have to sincerely apologize to the waitress in the green shirt, with dark hair. With today’s technology I’m so used to clicking or selecting and typing in an amount for a tip on the machine. So when I paid in cash, And when we talked about my hat and I was showing her it because she was interested in purchasing a hat similar to mine. As well as another customer standing right behind me waiting to pay. It completely slipped my mind for the tip. Because I wanted to get out of the way. So I sincerely apologize to that waitress. And if I see her again I will tip her for the previous encounter as well.

The breakfast here is fast hot, fresh, locally-owned and sourced. I was very impressed with the quality of the eggs, hash and belgen waffle. I highly recommend this place.

New favorite breakfast gem!! We were greeted upon entry, seated, immediately offered menus and water. Worker was very quickly cooking up our orders and the wonderful smells filled the air☺☺. Two eggs w/ cheese melts in your mouth!! Potatoes were great and never!, ever! order more than one pancake!! They were delicious and huge!! I also ordered a shrimp special to go and it was cooked to perfection and packaged for me. I will DEFINITELY return. Food and service was awesome!!!

We couldn’t believe how great this little spot is. We stumbled onto it at 5am and had the biggest most tasty breakfast we’ve had in a very long time. The people are friendly, they have lots of regulars and they even have those gaming machines, I even won $80!! Plus the best part is they are open 24/7 and serve more than just breakfast, definitely worth a visit here.

For years, I’ve gone to concerts. It’s tradition to hit up a 24-hour diner for food after a fun night of music. Sadly, Covid killed off most 24 hour sit down diners. We had been going to Denny’s after the last few shows, but their quality has gotten horrible.
This brings me to my visit at Dave’s Diner. After we saw Green Day, I did a quick Google search and found this one beacon of light open 24 hours. I’m so glad we stopped in! The guy who waited on us and cooked our food was awesome! My country fried steak was tender and cooked to perfection. So many times, places overcook it, and it’s tough. Not this man, he nailed it! The American fries I had as a side were also expertly cooked and very delicious. My over easy eggs were also exemplary. I took a few bites before I snapped a picture, but it looked so good!
This is now my go-to post concert diner. If you’re looking for excellent late night diner food, this is your place! I can’t recommend it enough!

The server couldn’t tell me if the onion rings were breaded or battered. I asked if my dinner came with 1 piece of meat or 2 and she told me to but it only came with 1.
I went to the restroom and noticed that it is basically in the kitchen. There was open food on the kitchen counter about 8 ft away from an open bathroom door. On my way out of the bathroom there was a teeny tiny step and I actually didn’t notice it and I fell. There are no signs anywhere that tell you to watch your step or that they’re even is one. My knee is still messed up from the fall. I have not gone after them for any damages. The people there are friendly. I went back the very next day to get another meal, I asked for a double bacon cheeseburger. Only got one patty of meat. But got double the bacon. Lol. My advice for the servers is to listen better or maybe even ask your customers questions just to clarify their order. The food does taste good though.

Was looking for a nice place to have a good country breakfast. Looks like we found it. The gravy was excellent. The Western omelette had nice big chunks of ham in it.
My son-in-law had biscuits and gravy with a side of country fried steak.

It’s a diner and a pretty good one too. The pancakes are huge. They fill the plate completely. The over easy eggs my daughter ordered were perfectly done. The hash browns leave a lot to be desired unless you ask them to be well done but other than that, it’s a great little diner!

Old-fashioned diner – bright white walls, ceiling, floors, and counter with silver trim – seating at counter or at tables for 2 or 4; can accommodate 6 but any more would be difficult. Cheerful staff, basic food. I get oatmeal, eggs and pancakes + coffee. I skip meat to keep my weight under 290. It is Cash Only / no credit cards.
