This place used to be great but here lately it seems to be going downhill. We hunt in Boulder and Dave’s has been a staple for our trips but this year it seems impossible to get a burger. The last 3 times we’ve stopped they have either not had burgers thawed, run out of burger, or today the excuse was they “turned the burger machine off early”. Hopefully management sees this and does something about these issues. We spend quite a bit of money here during summer scouting and elk season.

If you plan on dancing and having a good time DO NOT GO THERE. The “locals” who own the pizza joint or say they are “cops” will call you hookers for dancing to the music YOU PAID TO PLAY on the juke box when you’re minding your own business. The bartender will turn down the juke box so they can watch the football game after verbally abusing you for no reason. They allow men to walk up to you and verbally say “you look like a hooker & need to leave”. Then walk up to the bartender & say “are you gonna allow people to treat your “locals” like this?” When all you’re doing is paying for your drinks & dancing to music at a BAR!! If you want to dance & enjoy great food save your money & go to the Windsor. The bartenders welcome you & enjoy you dancing freely. No judgement or verbal abuse.

Had a great time bowling, very much enjoyed the lovingly maintained classic lanes! Service was excellent, I didn’t order any food this time, but probably will next time. I had a couple drinks, bowled a few games, played some corn hole & Foosball.
EDIT: I returned and had pizza from Maddog Pizza (in the same part of the building as the bowling alley) and it was absolutely delicious! The bar food and burgers at Dave’s over on the bar side all looked really good too, so I’ll get to it eventually too. That being said, the bartenders were all super nice, and drinks were served promptly and ice cold, with a smile.

Genuinely some of the best burgers I’ve ever had the one complaint I’d have is that the bacon cheeseburger only has like 2 small pieces of bacon on it that just don’t cover even half of the burger but the flavor of the burger and everything is amazing

It has been quite some time since I’ve been to this place and I was not disappointed. The retro bowling alley was top notch fun! I thoroughly enjoyed watching the ball come back on a single line rail and having to remember how to keep score! The drinks were great and the bartenders were fantastic. This place is worth the stop if you’re ever in Boulder, MT!

Since the new owners took over this place has been moving up in the world! Cleaner, friendly, and their menu has been improving as well. Just had chicken wings here a couple nights ago and very much enjoyed them.
Very grateful they’ve taken over bingo night for the community after The River closed down. This is what being local is all about!
