This was my first visit to a D&B and overall, I enjoyed my visit. We’ll start with the positives – the restaurant is clean (including the bathroom), the staff are helpful, all of the games worked well and I was surprised how many games we played for $40! Now the critical stuff – it is very noisy (I did expect this though, so it didn’t bother me), and the food was average and didn’t wow me. The portions were fine, nothing unexpected, and the cook reminded me of places like Olive Garden, Chili’s, etc. Enough to satisfy, but recipes that are pre-programmed for temperature and presentation, and most importantly reproducable.

First the negative, they really need to keep a maintenance attendant on the games. Way too expensive to have games not working correctly, missing balls, having debris or junk thrown inside them and not removed. When you let an employee know a game is not working, no one does anything. This is 75% of your business model, probably a good idea too ensure it’s in Tip-Top shape.
Now, that said the food was excellent, the food service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere of the business is outstanding. So yes we will go back, yes we will have some more fun there but I really hope they ensure their gaming machines stay maintained.

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience we had at Dave & Buster’s during my son’s 10th birthday party. We arranged and paid $400 to reserve a party space, expecting a smooth and organized event. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
When we arrived, we were surprised to find that the space we had reserved was occupied by another party. We were offered the shuffleboard room instead, but it was not an appropriate or accommodating space for our group. Ultimately, I had to rearrange tables myself in the public dining area in order to create a place for our guests to sit—something that should have been handled by staff.
The issues didn’t end there. The food provided at the start was extremely inadequate: one plate of fries and small, square slices of pizza amounting to what was essentially a single pizza. It was clear that management recognized this shortcoming, as additional food (eight flatbread pizzas) was brought out only after I complained. This level of disorganization is difficult to understand, especially given the cost of reserving a party package.
To add to the frustration, I found myself having to act as a server, bussing tables and organizing items that our assigned server should have been managing. This was certainly not the experience we expected, nor the one we paid for.
I hope you will review what happened during our event so that future customers do not experience the same issues. We would appreciate a response regarding how this situation can be made right.

The game selection really isn’t great right now. They changed a lot of the games since the last time I was here (sometime last year), and somehow it’s worse than before. It wasn’t amazing before either, and I’d honestly rather drive a bit farther to a different Dave & Buster’s or just go to Round1.
The last few times I’ve eaten here, the service has been lackluster and pretty slow. The food was just okay nothing memorable. At this point, I’d rather eat at one of the nearby restaurants and only come here to play games.

We had an amazing experience! The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was full of energy. I really appreciated the security presence, it made everything feel safe and comfortable. My family and I had such a fun time here and we’ll definitely be back soon. Had so much fun new years day at 9pm whoever the 2 guys that was doing the human crane was awesome. They definitely need a raise. I wish more family places had employees like them. We stopped in after our son’s college graduation for an impromptu celebration, since the ceremony ended early in the day. We had a small group with us and hadn’t made any reservations, but I asked if it might be possible to get a party room.
The staff was incredibly accommodating—they gave us a private room with our own server, and the manager even took the time to come over and personally congratulate our new graduate. Not to mention the steak I had was really good, another pleasant surprise.
Our unplanned pre-party turned out to be a huge success, and everyone had a fantastic time. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and outstanding service!
Update: The response from Dave & Buster’s to my review was absolutely correct. As an etiquette consultant and someone accustomed to fine dining, it’s often difficult for me to give a full 5-star rating. However, after speaking with family members, I realized that when reviewing a venue, it’s important to evaluate it based on its own standards—not just mine. Thank you for your thoughtful response and for helping me grow as both a consultant and a reviewer.

I never leave a bad review but this one needed it. I went there almost a month ago. I met with a friend I haven’t seen for a couple of years. We sat down to eat first and they sit us right in front of the host desk. It was 25 minutes until they gave us a server and it was a bartender. Mind you they weren’t super busy and there were 3 people at the host table just staring at us. The bartender that took our order was nice. I ordered a burger with only onions and tomatoes and they gave me a burger with everything on it. The games were fun but I would never go there again for food.
