Place was packed but our waitress was still amazing. I ordered the chicken and dumpling soup with the chicken parmesan. My daughter got the steak and cheese sub and it was literally as long as her forearm! Huge sandwich! Stopped at the Bakery to pay and got cinnamon rolls to bring home.

You call that a “Cheese-Steak” sub? More like a salty, grizzled “meat hash” on a soggy, fall apart roll topped with oily grilled lettuce.. no cheese… just “Miracle Whip”… not even decent enough to cut the sub in half.
I want my $16.50 back.. (this came “recommended” lol… if driving thru, best bet to not get off the exit and just pass this place by…. Thank God the whole thing came in a bag, may need that on the way home.

Growing up in Cumberland or LaVale, MD…Diatris is a must for dinner! Now that I don’t live in the area, I always make sure I stop to grab a cheese steak sub. They just don’t compare to others at any chain. Of course, a peanut butter cinnamon roll never hurts too!

The service here was delightful. The waitresses were smiling politely and they were all welcoming and friendly as well. I also quite enjoyed the family restaurant atmosphere that the restaurant has, it makes the dining experience quite cosy. The food itself was pretty good. I enjoyed their crab cake and the onion rings but I do feel like the crab cake was missing a bit of flavours. I did however enjoy the taste of the crab meat. The coleslaw was a bit too sweet for me as well which I did not enjoy as much. But, I really like their large amount of options you can pick from for the side dishes, it makes for more fun combinations and it’s just great to be able to try different things every time you come here.

Beautiful restaurant, good charm. The first time we went, the food was great but service was okay. The second time we went, Saturday late morning, stood for over 15 minutes with no service. Not there was no one around to serve us. We were looked in the face, spoken about, not served. There were three people in the back talking and laughing amongst themselves. Loudly mentioning that people (us) were up front, not one of the three women moved.

Soft, fluffy, and sturdy enough to hold a burger that could solve world peace. My wife loves this place (and frankly, I can see why). We all know the rule—happy wife, happy life—and after that burger, I’m on a whole new level of marital bliss. D’Atri’s is a great mom and pop style Italian and deli restaurant. The food is solid Italian comfort food, great subs and sandwiches and some general American cuisine. Not a stuffy gourmet place but a welcoming place to go with family and friends. The baked goods are made on premises and are excellent. The sub salads are a winner as are the meatball subs and fish sandwiches.

We got a large steak and cheese hoagie with fries. The hoagie filled the entire. The homemade bun was soft. Didn’t have to wait long for food. Definitely worth the price. Staff was very friendly. Homestyle atmosphere. Definitely visiting again!

This is my first time at D’Atri’s as I have previously drove by this restaurant. Their steak sandwich is what they are known for however I was not in the mood to pay $14 for a sandwich. So, I ordered the lasagna. The lasagna was very bland and hardly had any taste. My family member ordered the chicken salad sandwich and they were very unhappy with it. The chicken salad sandwich was mostly just chicken chunks. I’m glad I tried the restaurant, but I won’t be back.

First time here! Just ordered sandwiches to go but they were great! Chicken salad sandwich and comes with seasoned lettuce e and I don’t know what kind of pickles were on their sandwich but their pickles are delicious! will def be returning when we are in Cumberland again. ❤️their menu had a bunch of other delicious choices. Apparently their steak and cheese is unmatchable! And their bread is made at a local bakery. Very good.
