Overall a fine experience. Liked the food and the overall experience. The quantity is really good so if you have a small appetite then do consider to share your food order. Liked the wrap and it was very heavy and full filling so could eat only half for lunch and then at night. Enjoyed the steamed buns with pork as well. Give it a shot if you are nearby.

We’ve been going to Dashi for several years (since they were a food truck only, before there was a restaurant location) and have not had a dish disappoint once! The chicken wings, tacos, duck ramen and pad thai are definitely favorites, but everything we’ve ever tried has been out of this world amazingly delicious!

Ordered here more than a handful of times and it’s always good. Last night was awful though, first order missing pork belly, not a big deal, honest mistake. The employee who answered the phone quipped to her manager “the girl on the phone is ‘claiming’ her ramen has no pork”. “Claiming” implies skepticism of what your being told. I was perfectly nice about, and only said one sentence to her “I picked up my ramen and when I got home it was missing the pork”. I guess in that girls’ mind she immediately goes to the assumption someone is lying. The manager was nice and made a new one. I got home and the new one they served me was pitiful. Barely any pork belly and what was in it was not crisped at all. Barely any broth, mushrooms, kimchi, duck, jalapeños, cabbage. For some reason it seemed like more corn mixed in than anything else. I called again and the manager refunded me, what I was served last night was definitely not worth $20. Teach your staff the importance of verbiage. As nice as the manager was, it’s hard to reverse her employee implying I’m a liar. I can’t imagine this is up to the owners standards.

I was eating and a foot long piece of hair was wrapped through the ingredients in my taco. I picked it up to eat and felt something in my mouth after the first bite only to realize the hair and was disgusted. It was deep in the taco. I also did not receive part of my order. I ordered food from Dashi through Uber eats.

I’ve been here a hundred times and usually the food is on point! I usually get the Thai wings and the duck quesadillas as my go to! But this time I had the duck ramen and it was good. I will say the customer service has never been great. Consistently, the employees have attitudes with lots of sass that makes it unprofessional. This includes the manager unfortunately. I actually stopped coming here because of how rude the manager was to my friend and I the last time we came! I love Asian and Mexican fusion it’s literally my favorite food in the world. Like if I had one last meal on earth this would be it! So for me to give it three stars, and no longer come to this restaurant because of the overall unprofessional interactions from the employees is a huge deal. The food is unique and consistently tasty and flavorful but maybe take it to go so you stay happy with the service?

Hidden gem. First time here. If it’s busy you can Park across the street at the abandoned Video Game store. I ordered the Stir Fry Noodle with chicken. It’s savory, well plated, just the right amount of spice. Perfectly cooked chicken with a light seasoned crust.
