So I’m assuming this what it would have been like back in the 90s had I had that mindset to sit in and listen to someone talk and maybe play some music. But my music back in the days was Jazz and I still do like jazz, that’s my preferred setting!
I have a associate of mine that I go out with and she has her friend and they do Fridays as to go to different places to eat. On my drives I had seen this place multiple times.
Food: Very plentiful as in how Las Vegas had serve you big plates back in the days. Very tasty food.
Atmosphere was kind of loud because we were right next to the guy who was there to entertain. (Spot was already pick by Associate)
I would say this place is a great place to come get a good bite to eat. The waitress I would say could have to be a little bit better, because I went to eat and my utensils were taken by her…lol. The waitress had seems she didn’t want to interact and as quickly had ask if we enjoy our food but walked away quickly like she had anxiety. I don’t know if the young girl was new or what but serviced nowadays isn’t what it used to be.

Came in for brunch with friends and was not disappointed. Service was speedy and very friendly. They had an array of items to choose from. I of course went with chicken fried steak since I can never pass that up lol. It was good! Drinks were inexpensive as well. Definitely a great little dive bar!

I definitely recommend eating here. The staff was exceptional. The food was cooked to perfection! I had the veggie omelet with hash browns and toast. It was so delicious.

We haven’t been here in a while, this is the first night we’ve been able to have a family dinner out. Darren doesn’t disappoint!! Got the rib special, steak fingers and fish n chips.
Everything was super delicious. If you haven’t tried this wonderful place yet I definitely recommend you should.

I would say this place has one of the best burgers in Dallas. They have some beers on tap and just good fresh food every time I come here. Always happy when I eat here.

Howdy! Absolutely love this place. Has all the homey vibes ✨️ Foods soo daaaamn good. My favorite is the Hamburger steak with no onions of course. Whatever you do, don’t sleep on those bacon wrapped Jalapeños. Omg they are amazing. Breakfast is offered til 2:30 on Sundays so brunch is a must and you can catch a football game on one of those 7 tvs. Outside seating is available with the nice weather coming up. Vip room also available. Call to check availability. Owner is super sweet and cares about Quality in his products. Give this joint a visit

This place was good and options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a guy playing live music Friday, Saturday, and during brunch on Sunday.
I got there too late to hear music but he plays a wide range. Today I had chicken fried chicken with gravy and it was made there, you could tell it wasn’t a frozen patty. Menu also says burgers are fresh never frozen. There is a bar with drink specials and a patio. Nice local business, give it a try! Service was excellent!

A restaurant you just have to try! Great food! The Ribeye is the best in town. The other steak places should learn his secret to an awesome steak. The wait staff greets you when you arrive, awesome service and thank you when you leave. They make you feel soecial! I would give more stars, but they only have room for 5.

The food is down home tasty and the desserts are freshly made by a local and they are to die for! The prices are better than these many over priced restaurants these days and you will be surprised at the cost per dish in comparison to other chain restaurants. They also have live music some days, indoor and outdoor patio dining… I felt so a home. The smiles from the staff and from the other customers. I expected someone to soon yell “Norm” any minute! A Cheers reference! Bottom line, the food is good, the atmosphere is good, the price is good, the service is warm and…Great! Just go here, sit back, relax and enjoy. Leave the stress outside as you can always pick it up when you leave! Note: Their daily specials are very tasty and very special!

While I love this place and the food, charging almost $20 for a extremely thin (1/8″ thickness, maybe) chicken fried steak will make it a difficult choice to order food while watching games and having adult beverages again.
That is literally my only criticism. A $20 meal should have at least double the amount of meat.
