I’ve enjoyed Dario a handful of times since they’ve opened and every experience has been excellent. From the food (taste, presentation, and thoughtfulness), to the service and the staff, it’s all great! I am THRILLED they are now open for lunch on Thursdays! Anyone who lives or works (like me) in the North Loop, especially, who hasn’t yet prioritized booking a lunch reservation, do it! Look at these photos from my lunch (the best butternut squash soup I’ve ever eaten, and a mouthwatering steak) last week! I left feeling nourished. I will be coming back for lunch more often. Thank you, Stephen and Joe for creating such a thoughtful concept, and for the heart and work you pour into all you do. Shout out to Mercedes, too!

We had the potatoes, spizzulus, spicy rigatoni , and affogato. The food was good but not sure overall that it matched the price. The affogato was the best thing I ate tonight and will be thinking about it for a while LOL. Atmosphere was amazing! Service was great! I do think this is a spot that everyone should experience at least once.

The atmosphere is what brings you in. Hot pink and gold make it sophisticated while fun. The handmade pasta is what they strive to be be known for. I had the dual flavored ravioli. It was very well made and the sauce nicely sweet but the pasta could use a tiny bit more of a bite “to the teeth”. As an appetizer, the scallops were very tender but wish they were hot when they arrived. A root beer float rounded out the dinner well.

Pasta is one of my favorite foods and I’ve been to Dario twice and tried multiple dishes. I think it’s very noticeable the love they put into the pasta and the creativity of the ingredients. As others have mentioned you should expect dinner to be a bit pricey but I think the best way to do it is go with a group and try a bunch of things! For a special night out it’s got a great atmosphere, we had great service both times, and I really loved my meal.

Super cute restaurant! The decor was awesome!
The service was great and everyone was very friendly and helpful!
The best thing we ate was the Hiramasa Crudo. It was spectacular.
We also got the gem lettuces, grilled zucchini, doppio, and goat cheese and eggplant tortelli. All were just ok to me. I wouldn’t get any if it again.
For dessert we got the chocolate cake and ice cream which was just ok as well.
I don’t think this meal was worth the price.

Dario has a great atmosphere, beautiful place settings, and their staff is very attentive.
The food was amazing – we had the gem lettuces and potatoes to start both were fantastic. For dinner we had the Parmesan Sorpresine and Hanger steak. The pasta was fresh and delicious. The steak was good but we could tell it had sat too long as it was not very warm. The house steak sauce and creamy corn were amazing.
We don’t drink much but their cocktails we fantastic.

Great ambience, loved the aesthetic of the space. Appetizers and entrees are shareable. We enjoyed the pasta dishes and the pork chop was soft and succulent.

Food, service, vibes — all great! My only qualm is it’s a bit expensive and the portions can be small. But they make everything in house so that is to be expected. Highly recommend checking it out for a special occasion! I’ve been several times and they rotate menus often, it’s always great.

The interior is interesting, but it’s really loud inside. The quail is my favor out of all. Food is all a bit salty for me, but tastes all right in general. The Dario coke tastes nothing like coke and a small cup full of ice cost $8.

Great overall meal. The cocktails were great. The Gem Lettuces is a fun version of a ceasar salad that had great flavor. The Doppio pasta is one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. And the toffee cake was really good overall. The music playlist had me tapping my foot the whole meal. The server did a great job of guiding us through the menu. And the overall vibe in there was fun too.
