I’ve been going here for YEARS. Tonight we got a strawberry malt and 2 cookie dough wizards with a cherry limeade. The strawberry malt didn’t taste like strawberry at all, had a very weird butterscotch type of taste to it didn’t resemble a strawberry flavor at all. Even the 2 cookie dough wizards tasted off again with a weird taste to the ice cream itself, and the cookie dough is nothing like what it has been in the past. The only good thing was the cherry limeade and it was still not what it used to be. I’m sorry to say but over the last 5-6 years this place has took a major unfortunate turn. I’m not sure what happened but me and my family will be sticking to Andy’s for good from here on out. Excelsior anything is a joke.

Small little spot but great taste!! They have so many different options. I got the small butter pecan shake. Man I was full for the rest of the day after that! lol that was super heavy. It was very delicious though. I definitely had a huge sugar rush and a crash after (coming from someone who never gets shakes). Portion size was so much. Taste was amazing wow. They had all the pecans at the bottom that you couldn’t get with a straw lol. I think I would’ve preferred them more mashed up and crunched to be in the drink but oh well. Amazing taste!!! There was a huge line but once we ordered, the food came out quick!

Y’all, if you’re ever passin’ through town, you gotta stop by the Dari B Drive In! This little spot serves up some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Now, don’t expect any fancy seating ’cause there ain’t much—just a lone bench if you’re lucky, so most folks end up standin’ around to enjoy their treats.
But let me tell you, it’s worth it. The ice cream combinations are simply amazing! I got myself a root beer float, and I just love that you can choose how many scoops of ice cream go in ’em. Most places always put way too much ice cream and not enough root beer, but here, it’s just perfect. You get to decide, so it’s exactly how you like it.
If you’re lookin’ for a sweet treat and don’t mind standin’ a bit, Dari B Drive In is the place to be. It’s got that down-home charm and some of the best ice cream floats you’ll ever taste!

Closed for another season but grateful to have our little ice cream store in our downtown! Love that recently they’ve started taking cards for payment, too! If you’re visiting Excelsior in ice cream season, definitely give it a stop by!

Awesome little ice cream place! I’ve been here a few times and there is usually always a line but it does move fairly quickly. They have a ton to choose from. My favorite is the sangria with added strawberries, very refreshing. Also a great one is a reverse banana split. I wish they had dipped cones but unfortunately they don’t.

Dairy B Drive In is a nice little place to get some sweet and delicious ice cream. I had the Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream and it was absolutely delicious! I very much appreciated the quick and friendly service and the amazing quality of food for an inexpensive price.

For 22 years I’ve ordered a strawberry soda and it’s always been delicious. I’m not sure what I received today, but I don’t suggest getting the strawberry soda because they have not been trained to make them properly.

The best soft serve around and the sangria is an extra special treat. No matter how long the line is, they’re always moving quickly. They have a toppings and options list as long as my arm so you can make pretty much any concoction you can dream up. And the kids behind the counter are polite and generous.
