Darbunah Restaurant in Dearborn is a really nice Iraqi restaurant with beautiful decor. The space is very well designed and has a great atmosphere.
The tea was very good, and the mint lemonade was especially refreshing. We started with the labneh with za’atar, which was very flavorful, and the bread that came with it was soft and clearly freshly made.
For the main dish we had the pompano fish. It came with two types of rice and a very refreshing salad. I liked that the salad didn’t have onions, and it had small pieces of lemon rind that added a really nice flavor. The fish itself was very well seasoned.
Everything came out fairly fast and the staff was friendly throughout the meal. Overall the decor is beautiful and the food was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try something unique and a little different.

Darbunah is truly one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! The moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by beautiful Iraqi and Arab cultural décor — the ambiance is stunning both indoors and outdoors, with so much attention to detail.
Our server, Dua (sorry if I misspelled!), was absolutely wonderful — so kind, friendly, and welcoming. She made our visit even more special with her warmth and excellent service. The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

One of the most incredible meals I’ve had in a long while. Phenomenal service, great vibe but, most importantly, unreal food. Get the grilled fish. And the lamb. Also, the eggplant appetizer (pictured) was excellent. Do not pass this place up.

Amazing restaurant, incredible and authentic food. I love how they use a lot of pomegranate molasses in the Dolma, masgoof, and even the tabbouleh. The singer was really good and he even came to our table and let us play his oud that he was playing. Makes you feel like you’re back home. 10/10 restaurant, would definitely come back if in Dearborn, I wish they had a bigger place because they deserve it. Very nice people in the restaurant

We were traveling n just gt off from airport at 9 and were super hungry.. the google reviews looked good and one of our friends from Richmond, VA suggested this. Glad we tried.. the food was so delicious.. the staff was welcoming and helped us throughtbe menu .. we are not native Iraqis so all menu was forigen language for us.. but we totally loved all the thimgs we eat.. the ambience and the art work was amazing as well.. totally recommend it..
