9/3/22 update – good shrimp with seasoned fries and mildly spicy hush puppies. Mom liked her friend fish and shrimp. Sis liked her club sandwich.

Excellent, friendly, “extra mile” service for all ages. Chasity helped us today. It was SO hot and she was so attentive and kind. The location is unbeatable. They are clean, organized and they’ve done a nice job making the place comfortable and fun to eat at. Lots of art inside by one of the employees, too. Very talented. A real treat for us in so many ways today. Food was excellent and good portion sizes.

I loved my Slab burger yesterday! Thank you, I think it was the best burger I’ve had in a restaurant; it was large, tasty, very tender and juicy. Also my wife and I enjoyed the view of the lake and wildlife while we ate.

I have always rated The Bonne Docks “5 stars”, but the past Saturday night (at 5 pm) both of our meals were barely warm. We both got chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, baked beans. It was supposed to come with bread, but we received no bread. I asked waitress about it she said ” We are out of the right kind of bread”. Hmmm.

Great location on the lake. Food was great with one small issue. Service was great and staff was nice. Prices were very reasonable.
I did knock 1 food star, because my wife’s shrimp was no cleaned/de-veined. Not the end or the world, but not great.

Yesterday I ate at the Docks. They open at 4:30 and I went in around 4:15. They were super accommodating. They let me come in and get a drink until they started serving. The catfish was excellent. Most of all the staff and service was above par. I’ll definitely be back!

The view and service are nice but the food isn’t.
Its not “bad” just not real good (the beef seems to be a soy based meat). The shrimp taste like discount frozen shrimp.
If you go just don’t expect a great meal.
