Oh wow! I walk by this place a lot and always wondered, now I don’t have to! They have a very long list of pizza options and 4 kinds the sell by the slice, cheese, pepperoni, sausage, and one that changes. Today it was a Portobello mushroom with ricotta cheese and the spicy mix. Yum! The single slices are HUGE as you can see from the pictures so a good deal for the price. The vibe inside is very chill, their small TV was playing goofy spooky shows, perfect for Halloween.

The staff is funny and welcoming. Great gluten free and vegan options. The area has a lot of good spots to go to for a drink after you eat the most incredible slice of pizza you will ever experience. Easily the best pizza in the city.

Best thin crust pizza hands down! Pepperoni is the classic, big ‘ol pieces!! They always have a Za of the day too. 10/10 would recommend.

Dante’s Pizza is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Tim is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Amazing inferno pizza. Must come back. 10/10.

I rarely post but wanted to ensure my fellow New Yorkers were aware — this is not New York style pizza in my opinion. For frame of reference, I love Prince Street Pizza in Manhattan and I didn’t love the pizza at this place. It wasn’t what I consider good NY pizza! It’s possible you may like this place depending on the type of pizza you like though but I will not be ordering again.

Chicago has some amazing pizza places, but Dante’s consistency, high quality, and massive slice/pie sizes makes it one of the better options in the city. Don’t sleep on their wings either! The chicken wing quality is top notch and the sauces are very tasty.
Definitely a must-have when needing pizza and wings.

It doesn’t give me pleasure to leave a bad rec of a local pizza spot. However, to charge 8$ for a slice of pizza that comes out burnt with the texture of cardboard isn’t cool. Really not enjoyable experience. Highly recommend yall ensure pizza is of a certain standard or quality before charging that much for something.

I ordered a cheese pizza slice and it was huge! Thin crust baked nicely, excellent full of flavor, and nice amount of cheese. Yummy. Warning, if you want crisp, this isn’t crisp, more like NY style which I like! The kitchen staff are fast in preparing the pizza.
I wanted to try a vegetarian/vegan pizza that had toppings but unfortunately the only choice was cheese pizza. I couldn’t order the vegan slice pizza with toppings due to my allergy. I wanted to order one more food and didn’t want a huge pizza instead try to order a vegan sandwich so I asked about a specific ingredient in the vegan meat due to my allergy. Staff did not know and manager response repeatedly “I don’t know.” I was taken aback that she wouldn’t try figure out or call the owner or the guy that actually made the vegan beef. She said she didn’t have contact numbers and didn’t know and couldn’t find out. As a manager, that was not how one answer the customer. From my experience, vegan restaurants will find the answer for their customers. The cashier was apologetic and tried to be helpful.
The interior decor reflect the name opposite of exterior. It is unique and easily located on a corner. The space is not large. It is best for order to go especially for large group/family. There are a few high chairs seating for one or two people. Also four tables for 2 people. Parking on the street is available.

We ordered a pizza and put “Dante it up” in the instructions as a joke, not knowing what to expect and mostly thinking that it would just be something to chuckle at but they matched our energy and cut the pizza in a pentagram and drew one on the lid as well. Incredible. I love this place now.
