Nice friendy atmosphere and a good quite place to rest as a trucker I would take this place over any other truck stop any day and the food is really good the Mac and cheese was really cheesy and good so was the pork chops and the fries

We found this little jewel passing through for a quick bite. We both ordered the Chef salad and it was huge! All of the ingredients tasted fresh. The tea was perfectly mixed half and half. I attribute that to the nice young lady who served us.
The restaurant was so clean and looked brand new.
They also offer blue plate specials. I wish we had time to try it.
I will definitely stop again!

I recommend. I ordered the grilled chicken tender sandwich, 3 scrambled cheese eggs. Your standard breakfast diner, served by good local ppl. The food is waaay better than any chain restaurant in town. The quality of the food is above average. The price of the food is about average. They actually season their food, which is a huge plus! It’s not salty at all! Overall, I AM VERY SATISFIED!!

I don’t live in the area, but when I come by, I stop here to eat because it’s good home-cooked food. I had never had chicken spaghetti before, so I ordered it. Yum . Cheesy with a little bell pepper in it but not overpowering ✔️ Sweet cornbread, which was warm and moist ✔️ fries ✔️fried okra ✔️club sandwich ✔️ enormous glass of iced tea and Mr Pibb. Hubby and I are happily stuffed and will return my only problem was I was wearing a thin sleeveless shirt because the temperature outside was 98° and it was a bit cool for me but great because I know people coming inside appreciate it. There are lots of ceiling fans on to make the customers cool after being out in the extreme heat. Staff were very attentive and did not dawdle. We ordered at noon and were walking out the door at 12:30 pm so very timely. Excellent job

We ate lunch here for the first time today. I think the plate lunches were very flavorful. The country style okra, slaw, potato salad, country style steak, potatoes and gravy were delicious. The service was good and the staff courteous.

Had several little curly hairs in the hashbrowns. Waitress was very inattentive. I had to ask 3 times for mustard. She said she would discount one plate due to the unwanted hairs and when we got to the register, she did not discount the ticket and stood there waiting for a tip.

We are from the coast and had to come to Hattiesburg for an appointment. Since we were a little early we stopped at the first place we saw to hang out and I’m so glad we did! The server came up immediately and was very friendly. It took a bit to get our food but it was 100% worth the wait knowing it was cooked fresh. Best diner I’ve ever been to. If I could rate 20 stars I would!

I see things have changed since we last were here. It use to be 5 star worthy, but this last visit was underwhelming. The food wasnt what we remember it to be and the servers are so loud when they talk about family and friend issues that really shouldnt be costumer entertainment. Always looked forward to stopping in when we were in the area, but now, not so much. If we do, we do. If we dont, I wouldnt be upset.
