I came in after being interested in this small donut shop and let me tell you, I am happy that I took that first step inside. This shop is golden!
The donuts are absolutely delightful, all of them. From the apple fritters to the Guava filled to just the regular run-of-the-mill glazed. All of them are very delicious, flavorful, and leave you wanting to try the others.
The service is very nice. Each time I’ve shown up, the cashier has been friendly and engaging, even when I had questions about some of their donuts.
The building, although rather small, is pretty neat and has some rustic charm to it.
The prices are on the higher side but, it is very well deserved as this place provides great value donuts. I do wish they would label their donut types as they separate prices by a category system of “regular”, “fancy”, and “deluxe”.
I think this place has struck that rare balance of good service, great product, and amazing value. They have definitely earned my business and I’d recommend this donut shop to everyone.
I would love to meet the owner and get to know how he’s set up this shop and how he treats his employees. This place is a gem and I hope it never changes.

Soft and fresh doughnuts with friendly staff. Out of all the doughnuts I have had in Salinas, I would consider them a clear winner. Been back here multiple times throughout a 1 month period, the doughnuts seem consistently fresh throughout the day. If you would like a particular specialty doughnut, I would suggest to call the day prior and reserve what you would like. The specialty doughnuts are made in small quantities with random types each day. My personal favorite is the chocolate or glazed doughnuts with the strawberries and whipped cream . I highly recommend to give it a chance!

Been looking for a salinas donut shop that’s different then the normal. Im from slo San Luis Obispo. We have fancy deluxe donuts at all are shops even are foster donut shop and what are these… we have a chocolate bar with chocolate chip inside that’s a deluxe they have nothing like it. Regular donut shop will continue to go to Krisity donut shop in Salinas if im there. Finally went in and left. Prices so high with no specialty select donuts that can put a marking here on the map. I love my donuts.
You should call foster donuts Grover Beach CA. They will tell you what that donuts about in SLO County been eating deluxe special donuts since I was 8 lol. Piece of that donut in pic as well. Plus that’s a family friend pic taken to show you what a deluxe donuts is and was in your shop earlier bad customer service so I called when I went home. Your rep had bad manners and ignored me while I was talking you should check my page and are family community here. I can confidently say these are the best donuts in Salinas! The staff was very friendly, they asked if it was my first time (it was) and I really appreciated the explanation of their process + the service. Truthfully, it can seem a little underwhelming when you look at the display case but don’t judge a book by its cover. I had the filled Nutella, matcha, ube, a chocolate round, sugar Nutella round, and cinnamon toast crunch chocolate round. The only thing I didn’t like was the Cinnamon Toast Crunch on the donut, it was better without the cereal lol definitely give them a try!

Came here for the first time on Friday. Drove all the way from Seaside & they did not disappoint. We had the Oreo and glaze donuts as well as the churro donut holes. They were soooo good, fresh, and soft. Definitely the best donuts in the area! Will be coming back!

First time trying these, I would say these are the best donuts in salinas, they were soft and the chocolate flavor was good and not super sweet.
I’ve got the 2pm fresh donuts.

I loved the donuts. They were delicious..I got a chocolate donut and my partner got an eclair and he loved his. Very soft and yummy. The employee who helped was nice and even threw in a couple free donut holes which was a nice surprise 🙂

Went at the last hour before closing. Donuts were still super soft and not too sweet. $2/regular donut with a small discount for paying cash. Glazed and maple were very good. Light and fluffy, the perfect sweet treat to end the night. Cashier was polite. Would recommend with a coffee!
