I had an experience here today. I’d driven from Boulder to Pueblo to pick up three motorcycles on my trailer. On the way back about 10:30am I used my GPS to find Daniel’s kinda randomly. I wanted a breakfast burrito but instead chose a birria burrito. I talk to the two sisters working there who were so incredibly nice. My burrito came out and when I was half way through it the chef came out and asked how it was. I told him it was literally the best burrito I’d ever had. We talked about seasoning and spice and much much more. Honestly talking with Efren (hope I spelled that right ) was like meeting a long lost brother. After I finished and washed my hands I told the girls how much I enjoyed my brunch and also how kind Efren was. They said ‘he’s our Dad!’. Then he came out again and they said he’d taught them how to cook but still had a few seasoning secrets! Lol. Beautiful, beautiful people and simply the best food.

I’m so happy I found this place. Let me preference this. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food this is not it. However, if you are looking for an amazing SD Taco shop this is absolutely the place. The cook came out to greet me with the food I ordered and his name is Efrin. He told me he used to work at the shops in San Diego and the owners are from California too. This is hands down some of the best SD Taco Shop I’ve had outside of home. I’m not going to explain anything more about the food or the hot sauce. If you know SD Taco shop then you will understand.

Best authentic Mexican food so far in Colorado. Grew up in El Paso, lived in Cali. This place is the best of both worlds. Hubby and I literally ate ourselves sick it’s that delicious!! Out of curiosity, how often do you add or experiment with new food items? The photo I’m attaching was a staple growing up in E Paso. There are a lot of E Pasoans that live here and would be jumping for joy if they saw you offered these. T hey are ground beef taquitos in a red tomato based consome and topped with a lot of cheese. Been here a couple of times over the year and highly recommend getting here with enough time to sit down and eat. The food is wonderful but doesnt travel well even for a quick 10min jaunt down the road. Portions are generous and service is good.
Daniels Taco Shop is a popular military lunch spot and gets busy quick for the lunch hours. They keep up well and I see nothing but full and satisfied soldiers leaving.
If you can, stay for dessert it is worth it.

Had the Machaca plate while I waited for breaking burritos for the crew. Both locations are great. Simple very flavorful food that never disappoints. Atmosphere is only a 4 because it is a normal fast food place. Very clean though.

The price and quality are almost unmatched anywhere nearby. They are kind and courteous. If you want great food with generous portions while also being very affordable. I would highly recommend coming here anytime you can. I would have posted a picture but I was too hungry and it was wayyy to good.

I had the Carnitas street tacos, they were great. It was late in the day and the meat seemed a little on the dry side, but very tasty regardless! My fiancé had a burrito that came with a side of beans, the burrito was giant, it was a footlong and mostly meat. We also had chips with salsa and beans with cheese to go with is a must, their orange colored hot sauce has some good kick compared to other places. I had a Horchata to drink and it was really good, but I’m a Horchata fanatic, I’ll take it any way I can get it. Overall the food was excellent. My only complaint is the semi dry Carnitas meat and the small serving of chips that comes with a side of chips’n’salsa. Compared to other Mexican joints in town this place is a 5 star down home good ole Mexican food place. We’ll be back!

I couldn’t have asked for better food at my promotion ceremony! The catering from this amazing Mexican restaurant was absolutely delicious. From the flavorful tacos to the perfectly seasoned fajitas, every bite was a delight. The variety of salsas, fresh guacamole, and savory rice and beans made the meal truly unforgettable. Not only did the food taste incredible, but the presentation was top-notch, adding a festive touch to the event. I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion—they made my celebration even more memorable!
