Food came quickly, like 10 minutes fast. Margs were great! Usually have a great experience, food was under seasoned and tasted like it was made earlier in the day and warmed up. Went for the amazing guacamole and was very disappointed as it was runny and had no pics in it.

First time at Daniel’s Little Mexico and OH MY GOSH! AMAZING! My hubby and I went for lunch and instantly loved the vibe. The decor is so bright, colorful, and fun while still keeping authentic Mexican decor. Seriously, the place just makes you happy as soon as you walk in. The menu is HUGE! Sooo many choices that it’s actually hard to pick because everything sounds so good. Our waiter was awesome, super kind, on top of everything, and kept checking in to make sure we were good (and he was just as great with the other tables too).
Food + atmosphere + service = perfection. We had such a great time and will 100% be back. Highly recommend!

Shepherdville’s hidden Gem!
It is located in the strip mall area directly across from the Walmart on Conestoga Pkwy and can be missed if you didn’t realize it’s located. Once you’re there, you won’t forget the experience there. First of all, you will be impressed with the welcoming and friendly reception you’ll be treated to from the hosts. They are known for fast service and delicious serving of their many specialties! Everything comes piping hot and thoughtfulness is given to make sure you are satisfied soon after the food is served. Finally, it won’t break the bank when the bill comes especially if you go their for lunch. YUM !!! BTW, there’s another location at 1707 Cedar Grove Rd. in Shepherdsville as well in the shopping Center there. Their restaurant location also is equally of the same quality and delicious food service as the Conestoga location too!

We were from out of town, & our hotel recommended this restaurant for authentic Mexican food. The hostess seated us within ten minutes, & the booths & tables have neat Mexican themed decorations! Our server was attentive & thorough, although it did take him longer than expected to get our drinks. I ordered the chicken flautas meal, & I didn’t realize it came with lettuce, which I’m allergic to. Our server willingly brought over a separate plate, sour cream & guacamole for me that didn’t have the lettuce, which I greatly appreciated! My husband ordered the Mexican tacos, which came with a bean soupy mixture on the side. He said it all tasted amazing! We also both ordered the frozen lime margarita, which tasted excellent & had a good mixture of alcohol & lime! We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience & dinner at this restaurant, & we will definitely return if we’re ever in the area again!

It was the best Mexican restaurant that we’ve been to in a long time the frozen Raspberrymargaritas I would give a 10+ Service was excellent. Got everything right everything was hot. Nice just great all the way around.

I was in KY for a couple of weeks recently. I went on a weeknight. I love me some Mexican food and I enjoyed my visit at DLM tremendously. We were seated quickly and had a delightful waitperson. I found the big burrito I like to order down here in FL. I mentioned to the server I love cilantro and she gave me the ol’ eye wink and nod. My burrito was very large and covered in cheese. Plenty of shredded chicken and rice and beans filling. Then our server brought me a ramekin heaped with freshly chopped cilantro. I ate every bit. The dining room was decorated appropriately and I found it clean and orderly. There were plenty of customers but it was not loud and raucous. Overall, if I lived in the Shep area, DLM would be a weekly visit. This is a great restaurant.

Much better Mexican fare than we expected to find in Kentucky. Spice levels are toned down a bit to local tastes but the ingredients are fresh and well prepared and plated. Very nice full bar menu. Had the chicken mole enchiladas and fancy nachos and both were very good. Quite busy on a Friday night and on the noisy side, but not to the point of being annoying, just folks having a good time. Service was friendly and prompt.

Daniel’s Little Mexico is my GO TO place for excellent and authentic Mexican cuisine! Their frozen Margaritas are THE BEST, their chips, salsa and guacamole are THE BEST! I usually get a Chicken Quesadilla as my meal. The Monica’s Chicken with shrimp is also one of my very favorites here too! It’s ALWAYS clean here and ALL of the employees are always so kind and helpful!

I was in town for a few weeks and can’t believe I didn’t find this sooner! I had the Carne Asada Tacos, and they were really good! The portions were generous. I had to force my last taco down. The beans had a unique flavor. The chips and two different types of salsa were really good. I asked for some tomatilla sauce, and it was very good as well! The place wasn’t packed, but it had maybe 30-40 people in there, and I still got my food within 5 minutes! Kudos to this place!
