Daniel’s Broiler is a steak restaurant with multiple locations in the greater Seattle area. This location is downtown above the hotel, however it can be confusing the get to since the bottom floor is closed below it and there’s no signs – you have to walk through the hotel lobby to get to the elevator. Parking around here is always awful. Inside, they probably have 2 dozen tables and a few bar seats. The menu isn’t that big, but they specialize in steak and the sides, with a few other options like seafood as well. The portions are on the smaller side and the food tastes good but the prices are just too high. The staff here are great, very friendly and constantly walking around to help when needed. This is a popular post-work drink spot with a happy hour for lots of executives and people staying at the hotel. Overall it’s a good spot if you’re willing to spend a good amount of money.

For Valentine’s Day me and my fiancé struggled to find a reservation but finally got one here at the downtown location and it was more than amazing! We parked at the paramount garage, walked over & seating took less than 10 minutes. Jess (Jessica) was our waitress and never dropped a smile, we never had an empty drink & stopped at nothing to make sure our food was perfect 🙂 We got sat next to the window and loved to see the city lights while we enjoyed the night. I ordered the New York and he ordered the 12oz filet and not only were they cooked perfectly but the filet melted in our mouth. A lot of people were complaining about the “char” but we didn’t understand the fuss it was flavorful and what we expected a crust to be on a properly cooked steak! The old fashioned was smooth and rich and the apple spice martini I had was perfectly balanced not too sweet not too strong. We ended the night with the sorbet and crème brûlée it was the best sorbet I’ve ever had and the crust on the crème brûlée was perfect. Jess made the night even better by giving us excellent service and we will 100% be back next date night. The bill ended up being less than $400 with both entrees, both deserts and 7 total cocktails 100% with it!

Unfortunately, our experience at Daniel’s Broiler in downtown Seattle was very disappointing. Even though the restaurant was mostly empty, we had to wait outside for about 15 minutes before being seated. Once inside, it took around 20 minutes for someone to take our order, and our food didn’t arrive until nearly an hour later.
The service felt pushy — the waiter kept encouraging us to order more appetizers, drinks, and desserts, which came across as a bit too forceful. A 20% tip was automatically added to the bill, which I found frustrating, as I prefer to decide the tip based on the level of service myself. After we asked to pay, the server disappeared again, leaving us waiting even longer.
The food didn’t live up to expectations. It was served cold, the portions were quite small for the price, and overall, the value just wasn’t there. The salad, for example, was tiny — especially for such a premium-priced restaurant.
This experience didn’t reflect the level of quality or hospitality I would expect from a place with Daniel’s reputation. I really hope this was just an off night, but based on this visit, I wouldn’t recommend

The place is elegant and I almost felt underdressed. The server was impeccable and so were the table service. Everyone was super friendly and what an amazing view of the city especially in the evening. The entire crowd has a positive vibe. We were there for Valentine’s weekend so my wife and I felt that this was a great place to have dinner.
The potatoes were cold the steak was undercooked which was sent back and it was the same steak just heated but now a hair in the cold potato.
Again I think that it’s not anybody out on the floor it was just a kitchen problem but for spending nearly $600 we should have had a better experience in the food department.
We did mention it to our server and she took off and appetizer but we were ready to go at that point anyway.
Don’t think this is normal at this location as it has many positive reviews and everybody we talk to about it was excited about it for us.
Oh well win some loose some.

Food was good. Just not sure it was worth the $$$ spent. I’ve had better for half the cost. Do it once for the experience, to be honest, there wasn’t much of an experience.

Everything was delicious! The only thing I would say was a little disappointing, was the size of the scallops for the bacon wrapped scallops.

We had a fantastic meal this evening, Feb 20, 2026. The NY Strip was melt in your mouth tender and my wife’s scallops were perfect. The crunchy Brussels sprouts were cooked to perfection, and the shrimp in BBQ sauce was perfect too. Our waiter, Mike, went above and beyond to take care of our three person party. An evening to be remembered.

Located on the second floor of the Hyatt, we very much enjoyed Daniels.
Our server was very nice and checked in often. We started with the recommended bacon scallops which were very good.
Before even finishing that appetizer, our dinner was served which felt a little fast. Wound up finishing the appetizer last.
The food was very good. The lamb chops were great, the mashed potatoes were amazing, and the steak was also cooked to perfection.
Cheesecake to finish it up with iced cream was also good.
There is a 20% service charge (not a gratuity) built into the bill – which is what made this a 4 star review. This owners tax – was more than the price of a meal

Great food. My Ribeye was cooked to perfection, Wifes Waygu filet mignon was fantastic. Mashed potatoes we’re good. She got the baked potato. I tried the peppercorn sauce & it was delightful. Kids cheese burgers were good size. She had a red wine. My Long Island was okay. But the margarita i ordered was amazingly delicious. Lol.

The atmosphere and service were impeccable. I ordered lamb, which was amazing and prepared to perfection. My husband had wyagu filet mignon, and sadly, he said it was tough and was gravely disappointed. His dessert is
Was buttercake, which he absolutely loved. So, cost vs. quality… I will leave that for you to decide.
