A gem of a breakfast location
We have visited this part of Florida before but this was our first time dining at Coffee and Friends.
What an absolute gem of a small, independent business.
We were met by a very warm welcome by a lady who is clearly part of the management team (I would guess, the owner) and shown immediately to a table. We were offered coffee and drinks along with the menu.
A few moments later, a charming young gentleman took our order which arrived in a timely fashion and was beautifully, freshly cooked.
Between us we chose, a strawberry / banana waffle, a patriot waffle, a side of bacon, a side of bacon / cheese fries, a side of corned beef hash, a coffee and an orange juice.
The total ( including tax) was $41, which we felt was good value and we would certainly have no hesitation in recommending to others and we ourselves will revisit when we visit this area again.
Parking was ample and directly outside and from what we could see the interior was spotlessly clean (including the restroom).

I stopped by to get a tea to go, their chai was really good. It’s a really nice place on the inside very clean feeling. There’s a bar for individuals to sit at and large family seating. The place was relatively busy but it wasn’t too loud. It looks like they have some nice treats Also.

This is by far our family’s favorite breakfast spot. Family owned business with excellent food and friendliness. The Eggs Benedict is absolutely delicious with the hollandaise sauce made from scratch with asparagus on the top. Thank you Coffee and Friends for brightening our days! “Compliments to the chef “ Danke Schon!

Coffee & Friends offered a great breakfast experience. We dined here several years ago and it was nothing like it is now! The restaurant is immaculate, the staff was super friendly. Our food was out in no time and very good. Western Omelet and eggs over easy with sausage and both with home fries which were nice and brown all over. Coffee was not like most diners, it was actually good. We will be back.

Cute family owned breakfast lunch diner/restaurant on Placida Rd . I’ve driven by this place many times, seen good crowds in the parking lot but just never stopped til today. Woke up today wanting French toast and bacon. Decided I was gonna stop here today. Very clean family owned restaurant very much enjoyed my meal. Very happy with the friendliness of the staff. Turns out the family from Switzerland and they have a fantastic clean restaurant. I Highly recommend them. They even have a drive up window so you don’t even have to get out of the car. If you want your breakfast on the go go check them out. Go try something new !!

Simple breakfast place that hits all the notes! Everything was cooked perfectly. The breakfast potatoes were best I have had. Friendly welcoming staff. Then they serve excellent coffee – my kind of find when traveling!

Came in for the first time today and I loved it. I felt weird walking in alone but the staff was extremely warm and inviting the second I walked in. It’s not very decorated or anything (if that’s what you’re looking for) but the food and the customer service makes up for it. Perfect place for a simple home cooked style meal. The prices are very reasonable as well. My server Abe was very sweet and attentive. The owners’ even checked on me to make sure everything was good. Would definitely recommend. The only complaint I have is there are no alternative milk options which was almost a deal breaker for me. Glad I stopped in anyways.

Ordered a simple takeout order of 2 home fries with bacon and cheese, fruit and yogurt and a shake… And it took an hour to get ready.Somehow what should have been 24$ ended up being 30$. There are very few potatoes under strips of bacon and a laughable amount of cheese, I got maybe 2 spoonfuls of yogurt put inside a plastic drink cup, the fruit is limp and lacking cantaloupe and pineapple, and my shake, is not even close to the right consistency…. It’s not a shake, it’s iced toffee coffee
