This sandwich counter was bustling when I had a layover at BDL airport and needed to grab lunch. Huge line that moved quickly but everything was made to order so there’s was about a 15 mins wait to get our orders.
Prices were a little more reasonable than other food options. My medium Italian panini was $11. Not cheap but still less expensive than sandwiches from the restaurants in the airport.
The sandwich was pretty good and filling.

I wanted a steak and cheese and they were out of steak at 1:10PM, this was upsetting, I settled on a turkey and cheese sandwich and customized it how I wanted, this was nice, but for over $13 it was a very basic sandwich. Overall good experience, they have a self service kiosk which I like because you can customize everything and decide what you want in real time. If you are flying out of BDL there really aren’t many options for food, so it’s good this is at least decent!

Honestly not a pleasant experience. Staff members did not acknowledge me for 5 minutes after I got in line, and then I waited 55 minutes for my sandwich. There were only 4 others who bought sandwiches in that time frame, who also waited a long time. The floor was Not clean and thr sandwich wasnt even warm when it was finally ready. Overall disappointing.

Food is always consistent and good. Service is hugely slow as compared to other D’Angelos. It is an airport fast food joint so don’t expect much of atmosphere but napkins were out and tables weren’t very clean. Guy who took orders was very nice and service oriented/

I placed my order at 2pm, got my meatball sandwich at 2:30. The meatball was practically petrified and inedible. Took it back, got a different sandwich just in time to rush to my boarding group. I may not visit Hartford Airport again, but if I do I won’t be giving one dollar to D’Angelo’s!

Waited thirteen minutes for a wrap. Two people behind me got their food first. I had to remind them to make my food. This is an airport fast food restaurant and there was nothing fast about it. For the price and location, the service needs to be quicker.
