The bread is so dry, it falls apart. This was my first experience with a D’Angelo sandwich. I have no desire to have another one. I like moist soft bread and this isn’t that. Everything else with the sandwich was fine. Service was fast, but seemed to have that philly attitude.

Went into this location at the rest stop, Eastbound Mass Pike, as I approached the counter I was told quite rudely by the obviously lazy employee that they had nothing but pizza left to serve! Of which there were 4 slices of random configurations! Hey D’Angelos why not just close this location as you have the majority of your locations throughout New England!! Why bother?

The lead employee here had a complete disregard for basic respect for people. This is at a rest stop and people are trying to get home after long rides – who wants to have the cashier be rude, arrogant and dismissive? And then hold my food (which was paid for and ready) and purposely not hand it over? Next time save yourself from a headache.

Skip it.
D’Angelo’s is great, but the Lee location is terrible. They don’t pick up the phone ever. They don’t fulfill the orders correctly. They’re sloppy. It’s just not worth the trouble.

Sandwiches were so messy and contained very little meat, the chicken salad was inedible basically all mayo services was lackluster as guy behind counter was just watching tv on his phone and took forever to respond

I got a vegetarian sub. I wish they had asked if I’d like it grilled. The grilled veges and hot cheese were so yummy, but it caused the bread to get soggy. Grilling it would have made it perfect!

I am sorry I cannot remember the woman’s name who helped me. She was so kind and professional. She asked my name for food pickup and addressed me by name. I felt special…it was sweet.

The restaurant was in a travel plaza so I cannot say the atmosphere was awesome, but I gave it a 5-star because of it’s convenience.

One of the worst food products in recent memory. Purchased a Steak and Cheese sandwich which was one of the toughest pieces of meat I’ve had in years. It was full of sinew and impossible to chew. Got through half and had to throw the rest away.

Had the Korean BBQ sandwich, and despite what I thought were reasonably low expectations, it managed to disappoint. BBQ sauce was standard american variety and the cheese was cold and unmelted. Cashier was extremely helpful and friendly though.v
