It’s 95 degrees outside, how about some ice cream? We stopped at Dana’s today to cool off! We visited through the drive thru. When we made our way to the window, the gal working quickly apologized for the wait, though it was not a terrible wait at all. One person ordered a twist cone and two of us ordered the cobbler treat. Today’s featured cobbler options were apple and cherry (other days they offer peach and blackberry). The cobbler dessert is layered in between ice cream with a whipped cream topping. First time I’ve had one and it was such a treat! The portions are monster-sized and the staff were friendly and polite. You can’t go wrong at Dana’s!

Long wait which is understandable. Ordered chocolate shake, shaved ice and a iced coffee. Iced coffee had no flavor was basically cream and water.
Big issue was the shake had chunks of something in it. Not food but was like silicon or something. Every bite had big chunks of it. 5 bites of trying and kept finding more and more. Disgusting. Threw it away and will not be back.

This sadly will be my last visit. I shouldn’t have to wait in line for 20 minutes to be handed this. A large soft serve with sprinkles. The cup is half full and the sprinkles are pathetically sparse. I didn’t want to post anything but after a few visits and each time receiving the same results. I tried but cannot justify spending my money for something that lacks like this.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dana’s Shaved Ice and enjoyed a large shaved ice with blue raspberry, tiger’s blood, and red raspberry flavors, topped with a sour syrup. Whatever sour topping they added really hit the spot! The portion size for a large was perfect, especially for someone like me who can put away a good amount of shaved ice, and it was just right for a hot 91-degree day.
The atmosphere is really charming, with a cute little shack that gives off a nostalgic ice cream stand vibe. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made the experience even better. There’s also a shaded seating area where you can relax and enjoy your treat out of the sun, which was a nice touch.
The only minor downside for me was the lack of extra toppings like Nerds or Sour Patch Kids, but that’s just personal preference. All in all, Dana’s Shaved Ice offers great flavor, friendly service, and a satisfying portion size. Definitely worth a visit!

We ended up stopping here while we were in town this past weekend. It was super hot so we wanted to get some cold shaved ice. My friend Aaron said he knew the perfect place and was he ever right!
The staff were friendly, efficient , and all around pleasant. There were a few people ahead of us but we were in the front within a few minutes.
Our shaved ice was delicious and was so good we had to get another for our trip back home. They have other items aside from shaved ice, but we did not try them. They looked really good though 🙂
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for tasty cool shaved ice on a hot day or whenever the mood strikes you. You won’t be disappointed.
