I rolled in around 7pm on a Wednesday, expecting a quiet dinner. They weren’t terribly busy, but based on what I ate, I’m convinced this place is packed most nights. The vibe is modern, fun, and just classy enough to make you feel like you accidentally leveled up your dinner plans.
I ordered the General Tso Chicken and the Dances with Wolves cocktail — and let me tell you, this combo should come with a warning label.
The cocktail?
Sophisticated, refreshing, and dangerously smooth.
The kind of drink that makes you briefly consider becoming a cocktail snob .
The General Tso?
Unreal.
Crispy chicken, sweet‑savory sauce, chilis, shallots — every bite was a perfect little flavor explosion. I didn’t “eat” this meal… I demolished it. Completely. Zero leftovers. I left delightfully stuffed and mildly proud of myself .
The atmosphere was fun, the service was fantastic, and the food? Worth. Every. Penny. Some folks say it’s pricey, but honestly — when the food hits this hard, you’re not paying for a meal… you’re paying for an experience.
DLX absolutely delivered.

First, the good. The pot stickers were tasty. But they were cold. It’s as if they were prepared as an appetizer before my meal. Which makes no sense since I ordered to go. And considering the general tso’s chicken was nearly too hot to eat, the pot stickers being cold were disappointing.
The general tso’s chicken was odd. The flavor was ok, but definitely different than any other general tso’s I’ve ever had. And the chicken was mushy. It was as if the chicken had sat in the sauce for a long time. But the chicken was so hot I could barely eat it at first. So it must have been fresh.
Then considering the price, nearly $30, this place was not a good value at all. I was thinking expecting something similar to Molly Woo’s in Columbus. But this just wasn’t even close to the same quality.
The service was fantastic and they did great at making us feel comfortable and at home.
The Thanksgiving meal that they provided was first class. The food was high quality and absolutely delicious!
This was my first time here and I would love to come back and have dinner again to try their normal menu.
The environment was beautiful and I enjoyed being in that space. They kept up with a busy afternoon and kept everything feeling clean.
I loved it and am thankful for the hard work that these people put into making Thanksgiving special for everyone, for free of cost.
Appetizer portions are weird here too, order pot stickers and you get 4 or 5. Order the dynamite shrimp appetizer and they give you about a dozen shrimp.Last time I checked shrimp was a higher cost protein than pork. So order the shrimp? Not so fast, sure if you like them with a soggy breading covered in too much sauce.
I think Dan needs to spend some time eating his own food and make the necessary revisions. If this is what he intended from his kitchen he must have low standards.
They were out of one of the menu items a person in our party wanted to order for dinner. This is the only thing I could say should be improved on however, I’m not able to determine if this was a management mistake or just because the world is not normal right now. Will definitely visit again.
Hot mess sushi roll is …try everything! You won’t be disappointed! Top it off with some cheesecake from heaven!
