What a lovely experience. Food is absolutely innovative. He uses ingredients that you will not find elsewhere, most of them locally sourced from his own property. Trees, flowers, saps, syrups, oils. The man is deeply connected to his land. This is nothing like any other restaurant I have ever been to, and I have been around. It was a privilege to visit, and to be honest the price is not really that prohibitive compared to what you get. Damon is a great host that will make you feel comfortable during the whole night. It was certainly a memorable night that we will remember years to come.

It took years to get a reservation and it didn’t disappoint. The man is a master and genius. The time, effort, and love he puts into each and every dish this man makes is astounding. I honestly don’t remember how long we were there, somewhere between 6-7 hours and 30+ course. I wish I could describe exactly how neat and exciting the experience and stories of how he creates his ingredients are.
I have to say if the one negative reviewer actually ate a meal at Damon’s, then they must have blacked out during the entire experience.

The food was creative and very tasty, and it was a lot of fun listening to Damon describe the various dishes and processes he uses to prepare them. We were there for about seven hours, but the pacing was good – we were never waiting around or feeling rushed, and I couldn’t believe that so much time had passed when we reached the end of the meal.

Unbelievably good… a 7 hour. 28 course donner prepared by a man who obviously has found his calling. Be prepared to pay more than youve ever paid for dinner but this is a bucket list experience.
