This was amazing! The place prior was good too. But the meat was flavorful and tender. I had gotten the brisket and ribs with macaroni and cheese and beans as my sides. Oddly the beans are my favorite and normally I don’t care for beans but they had such a good flavor to them I wish I had just a bowl of them. The ribs were practically falling off the rib and had good amount of meat on eat. Definitely worth it!

Really great brisket and pulled pork. The mac and cheese was good and so was the coleslaw. I lived in Texas for many years and have a high expectation when it comes to real BBQ. I would say by far damn Yankees does a great job at making quality barbecue at a price you can appreciate for the work and time that goes into this type of food.
The restaurant itself was a cool and clean atmosphere that just oozes barbecue restaurant of the north. My only complaint is that while dining in the dining room there was few customers at the time because it was not a peak hour and no music or TV were on in the dining room. It felt very quiet and eerie.
I will be going back for more! The food is outstanding, it is my opinion that you can tell the quality of a barbecue restaurant and their confidence in their meat based on whether or not the food comes with sauce on it already. I can say with certainty that damn Yankees gives you your meat without sauce but has a slew of options for sauce on the side. Great brisket, keep up the great work!

The brisket and ribs fell apart, had great texture and wasn’t mushy. The smoke flavor was an accent and not overpowering. I didn’t use any sauce, and I don’t think anyone should! No need to cover up that fantastic flavor.
I dropped a star because of smaller portion sizes than I would have liked.

Got a Brisket Sandwich today that was fantastic! The meat was cooked to perfection. It is very rare that a sandwich stands out as something exquisite but this one did. Used the extra meat on the sandwich to put in my cheesy macaroni and cheese. Fantastic decision. It gave it a little more flavor and saltiness. Ordered and walked out within ten minutes. The only thing that would prevent me from coming more often was the $13+ Price tag for lunch. Well worth the money because it was something extraordinary but hard to justify all the time.

Good ! We had the smoked chicken wings, brisket, sausage platter, greens, Mac n cheese.
The brisket is excellent. My only dislike is that the chicken wings still had plenty feathers, major turn off.

Our waitress was great Saturday, the skinny red-head. And the homemade sauce helped this review.
We ordered 2 meat 2 sides. $25! What we got was a urine-sized sample of meat that was 3/4 inedible fat. The meat was dry and bland. The MAC was bland. Beans were good though.

What can I say it was damn good! My wife and I shared both the Burnt Ends and the Yankee Noodle Wrap with fries and everything was cooked very well. By the way, I really recommend the wrap, I just love having brisket with mac and cheese

Excellent service and great food! Got the pulled pork sandwich and was not disappointed, the pork was very tender and the fries were cooked well. They have 4 homemade barbecue sauces to choose from and they all go great with both the sandwich and the fries.
