I had never been here before and was unsure when we pulled up but we gave it a try. We had the Dakota Burger and fries and it was great, the fries were done well. The burger was definitely quality ingredients. We had the seasonal IPA on tap and that too was a really good choice. I highly recommend this place. I would make one small recommendation and change. Guys swap out the lights in the dinning room with bulbs with a warm temperature and warmer glow. It looks cold and cafeteria like with too bright of lights.

We had a fantastic lunch. Our server Selmanesh was excellent. We love that they use ingredients from local farms! Onion smash burger was The outdoor seating, right on the bike path was comfortable and clean. Restroom too. Highly recommend!

Years ago we were on a bike ride with our friends the Hurley’s when we stumbled open this cute restaurant right on the bike trail. I could never find it on any map since I was just following Mike.
Last night the fine Mrs Barrett wanted to to a place called Dakota Junction for its 10 year anniversary. She loves a deal.
And low and behold it was that bike trail place!
Totally fun with stupendous food and lots of GF options, it was so great to find it again.
The owner Stephanie is a gem and the chef is very talented. Can’t wait to go back.

I always pass by this location and decided to give them a try. It was a nice environment. The options were on the board to choose from. I had great service from staff even those who were not assigned to my table. I order the chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. Order arrived quickly, and it was perfect portions and fulfilling.

2024 update: Every meal we’ve had here at Dakota Junction has been exceptional! We’re local Mound residents and this is one of the best locally owned restaurants around. Keep it local! Thanks Dakota Junction!

I love this place, it’s hidden in plain view. They source as much of their food locally as they can, everything is so fresh… And tastes amazing. I do the huevos rancheros almost every Sunday.
